Episode 32

Scene 1

Shivaay was just checking emails on his laptop when suddenly his phone went off.

"Yes Mishra ?" He spoke into the phone.

A pause went by as he listened to Mishra.

"Increase your bid then." Shivaay said as he grabbed his coffee mug and took a sip of his Caffé Americano.

A lil pause was there.

"I don't care Mishra." Shivaay replied impatiently. He was getting annoyed by whatever Mishra was telling to him.

Another pause.

"I said give him the goddamn money !" Shivaay finally growled. "Mujhe farak nahi padta ki mein 2 crore de raha hu ya fir 2000 crore, mujhe woh company chahiye matlab chahiye aur uss company ka malik mujhe mere saamne chahiye, understand ?" ("I don't care if I'm paying 2 crore or 2000 crore, I want that company and I want that company's owner infront of me, that's it ! Understand ?")

After hearing a satisfying 'yes' from Mishra, Shivaay hung up the call.

"Kya hua Shivaay ?" ("What's wrong Shivaay ?") Annika asked worriedly as she entered the room. "Meine apko chillate hue suna." ("I heard you yelling at someone.")

"Kuch nahi Annika." ("It's nothing Annika.") Shivaay said as calmly as possible but there was still anger lingering in his voice.

Annika nodded, thinking that it must be related to his work.

Little did she know that it was something related to his heart.

"Chaliye nashta karte hai." ("Let's go and have breakfast.") Annika said.

Shivaay nodded.

Scene 2

Shivaay and Annika joined Shivika in the garden to have the breakfast.

Shivika seemed to be in peace today as she gave Shivaay a small smile on his arrival and mumbled a 'good morning' once, which was intended towards both Shivaay and Annika.

Shivaay's foul mood changed into a one of delight and he smiled at Shivika.

"Good morning kiddo." Shivaay cheered.

Shivika didn't reply but gave a small smile instead.

Everyone settled down and after a while Annika suddenly started laughing like a maniac.

Shivaay and Shivika looked at each other and gave Annika a puzzled look.

"Kal raat ki aap dono ki shakal yaad karke mujhe abhi bhi hassi aa rahi hai." ("I'm not able to control my laughter when I recall your scared faces from last night.") Annika laughed, while Shivaay and Shivika frowned. "Kitne darr gaye the aap log." ("You both had got scared out of your minds.")

"Mein dara / dari nahi tha / thi." ("I wasn't scared.") Shivaay and Shivika said at the same time.

"Aap toh rehne hi do." ("You don't even get me started on you.") Annika said to Shivaay. "Shakal dekhi thi apni ? Aisa lag raha tha kaddu ne karela kha liya ho." ("Had you seen yourself ? Your face looked like a pumpkin had ate a bitter gourd.") Annika laughed making Shivika laugh as well.
