I go and shower and then set my alarm and lay down to sleep.

I had just closed my eyes when my phone beeps.

📱Mom said you were at cookie grounds with Cooper??

📱Yeah, we went for a run together after work. He just left and I'm headed to sleep. I'll talk to you later. Love ya! Sierrah.

I laugh and set my phone down on the nightstand and fall off to sleep.

I wake up around 8 and go downstairs to the kitchen and grab some eggs and cook it up and eat before I go get ready for work.

I get all my gear on and lock up and get in my truck and head to work passing by Coop's complex but don't see the dodge.

Doesn't take long to get to work and when I pull up I see him getting out of the car and he smiles over at me.

"We should just ride together." He laughs.

"Yeah save on gas." I smile. "I brought the cookies."

"If we go out we will grab them. They are safe in your truck." He said walking with me inside.

"Aww if it isn't the lovebirds." Jeremy laughed.

"Your just a jealous prick," I said walking to my desk.

I hear Coop and Clint chuckle behind me. "I guess she told your ass," Clint said.

"They said redheads are firey and wild in bed." He said.

"That's enough Jeremy!" Cooper said.

"What it's true I mean that's what I heard and I'd likes to know." He said.

"Only thing your going to know is my foot in your ass," I said sitting down in my chair.

Coop fist-bumped me and sit down. "Oh let's run that number V and see what we come up with before we talk to the Chief."

I unlock my phone and hand it to him. "It's under Rob and while you're at it add your number in case I need to call you," I said.

"Yes ma'am." He smirked.

"V your not going to believe this but Rob is a Valentine." He said.

"Oh shit!" I said.

"Holgate, Reece I need you in my office please." The chief said.

Coop hands me back my phone and follows me into the Chief's office.

"Hey, Chief." Coop said.

"Have a seat guys and tell me what you got." He said.

"Well we saw Valentine on the pier last night but actually we got some intel today while we were out jogging this morning." Coop said.

"Yeah the day before I started I met this guy on the beach that was flirting with me but I dismissed him until I realized he was who was on the pier last night. I know him by Rob and had nothing else until today we were at my aunt's cookie store." I said.

"Did you say cookie store?" Chief laughed.

"Yeah, my Aunt Remi owns cookie grounds." I smile.

"Damn I love those cookies." He said.

"I have some in my truck if you want some. But anyway Rob walked up and I asked for his phone number so we could look him up and turns out he's a Valentine too" I said.

"Oh, this is good! And yes I want some cookies." Chief laughed.

"I was thinking Chief when we go out tomorrow night undercover maybe she text that Rob and tell him where she's going to be. See if he distributes at the club." Coop said.

"Hopefully we can gather some of them up and bring them in and see if they will talk," Chief said.

"Violet writes it all down so she has all the info in her notepad." Coop said.

"Can I get a copy of that Violet?" Chief asked.

"Sure Chief I just like to write it all down so I don't forget names. I'll go make a copy." I said walking out of the room.

I make a copy and walk out to my truck and grab Chief a couple of cookies in a napkin and walk back to his office.

"Here is your copy and two cookies." I smile.

"Oh your already my favorite! Ok, you two get out of here and go to the pier look around and head over to the club paparazzi and that warehouse and see what's going on." Chief said.

We head back to our desks to grab our jackets and lock up our desks, use the bathroom, and head out to the car. I walk over and grab the container of cookies out of my truck and join Coop in the car.

"You ready V?" He asks holding out his fist.

I fist-bump him back. "I'm ready Coop."

We head to the pier and don't see much activity. So we drive on to the warehouse and there we find Valentine and Rob. "We need to find out Valentine's first name." He said.

"Yeah, we do. Looks like they are putting boxes in a van. Let's follow and see where they are going." I said just as they looked up and we both tried to duck and boinked heads.

I snort and Coop chuckles. He raises back up to see the van pulling out.

"Let's follow but at a safe distance so they won't know." He said.

"Sounds like a plan. There is no way I could explain this if Rob saw us." I said.

We follow them straight to the club. "Should have known they would come here. I so want to bust them now." Coop said.

I smack his hand. "You know we can't do that we have to be patient and hopefully we can arrest all three tomorrow," I said.

"I sure hope so. I also hope Jeremy can be nice because he has to be in on this bust." He said.

"Yeah you and me both since I'm going to be dressed slutty for the club." I laugh.

"Then I'll have to fight guys off of you in the process." He laughed.
