Third Person's POV

We start outside the national museum as it is nighttime, and Rouge the Bat is hanging upside down in a tree a distance from the museum. She looks through her jewel scope before taking off in the direction of the museum. Inside, a camera watches a rare jewel. Three security officers are sitting inside the security office. Two of them are playing blackjack, while the third reads a magazine "Anybody hungry?" The 3 officer asks and then glances at the security footage, and sees Rouge approaching the jewel "Hey!" He said and an alarm sounds as the other two officers rush to the scene "What's goin' on?" Officer 2 asks "What's wrong?" Officer 1 asks "How could anybody get in there?" Officer 2 asks and Rouge cleanly slices the glass casing with a swift kick, then picks up the jewel "Hello, gorgeous..." Rouge said "We'll lock down the place!" Officer 3 said and presses a few buttons on a control panel, and all doors, windows, and passageways in the museum are sealed off "Nobody's gettin' outta here now!" He said and chuckles and the three officers head to the room Rouge was in, carrying pistols and billy clubs. They go inside but Rouge was nowhere in sight and Officer 3 picks up a card on the ground. It depicts a silhouette of Rouge, along with the words "Thank you." ""Thank you"? ... What? Is this a gag?" Officer 3 asks.

Rouge is flying through the air, looking at her newest find "You may not be a Chaos Emerald, but you'll do... for now" Rouge said.

*Later at the Thorndyke Mansion in Chuck's lab*

Cream and Cheese are watching Scarlet Garcia on the news. Scarlet is reporting from the National Museum "I'm coming to you live from the National Museum, where the world's largest diamond was stolen late last night. Law enforcement authorities are baffled by the outbreak of precious gem robberies, but private sources tell SSTV that this was clearly the biggest in a series of jewel thefts that have plagued Station Square in recent days" Scarlet said "Sonic?" Amy asks and Cream and Cheese turn to see Amy in the entrance to the lab. She is carrying a pizza pie "Hey Cream, have you seen Sonic?" Amy asks "The last time we saw him, he was with Brody, Chris, Turbo and Tails, but I'm not sure where they went" Cream said "Chao!" Cheese said "That's too bad... Hey, would you like having some pizza?" Amy asks and Cream and Cheese immediately brighten up "Yes! Are you sure it's okay?" Cream asks "You bet it is!" Amy said and Cream and Cheese cheer "Yaaay!" Cream said "Chaaaoo!" Cheese said.

*At Station Square*

Sonic, Brody, Turbo Tails, and Chris are flying in the X-Tornado. Sonic and Brody are sitting outside of it, Sonic twirling a baseball on his index finger "Tails, Turbo, you see anything down there?" Chris asks "No..." Turbo said and Tails eases the controls a little, causing Sonic and Brody to lose their balance. The former checks the monitor "Nothing there" Tails said "Don't worry. We're gonna find those Emeralds!" Chris said and looks behind him "And Sonic and Brody will help, right? ... Uh, Sonic, Brody... Uh... Wha... Where... Where are you?" Chris asks but Sonic and Brody are clinging to the undercarriage of the X-Tornado for dear life.

*Meanwhile at the White House*

The President is seated in the Oval Office with two chairmen, Jerome Wise, and the President's Third Aide "Something has to be done, gentlemen. We must take action. Eggman is a threat to our nation's security. We have no choice but to launch an attack" the president said "Mr. President, I want to stop this Eggman as much as you do, but it's not so simple" Chairman 1 said and Chairman 2 is looking at a book "I'm afraid the chairman is right, sir" Chairman 2 said "After examining the remnants of one of Eggman's robots, we've determined that his technical capabilities and military hardware far surpass our current weapon system" He said "That may be so, but it doesn't change the fact that something must be done" Jerome said "Would you consider asking Sonic and Brody to assist with this mission?" The P.T.A asked and Jerome looks at him "Sonic and Brody?" The president asks "Eggman's an unusual enemy, sir, and that calls for an unusual ally. With this in mind, sir, I think Sonic and Brody's got what it takes to get the best of him. They just might be the only hope we have, Mr. President" the P.T.A said and the president walks to the window "That's true. But how do we know we can even communicate with a hedgehog and a wolf?" The president asks "Our operatives have observed them speaking with the young boy they're staying with. They understand the language" The P.T.A said "Fine, then we'll do it" The president said "Sir, I think you've made the right decision" The P.T.A said.
