A Chaotic Day

Third Person's POV

We start in Chuck's Lab as Chris, Chuck, Sonic, Brody, Ralph, Knuckles, and Big are gathered up in the lab, drinking coffee "Shouldn't we be out trying to stop Eggman instead of taking a coffee break?" Brody asks "I'm hoping that we could put our heads together and unravel the mystery of Eggman's Chaos creature" Chuck said "It's the most powerful thing We've ever seen. We watched it gulp down two Chaos Emeralds like they were candy" Ralph said "They made that thing even stronger!" Sonic said "It sounds like it's going to be a real challenge to defeat this creature" Chuck said "It will. Ralph and I knew it would be trouble when We saw it on Angel Island" Knuckles said.

*Angel Island-Flashback*

Knuckles is sleeping through a storm at the base at the base of the Master Emerald shrine while Ralph is at the top sitting infront of the Master Emerald, his back facing the Emerald "After Chaos Control happened, Angel Island was transported into this world. That's where the Master Emerald was, and Knux and I guarded it around the clock. One night, a huge bolt of lightning startled me. But this wasn't an ordinary thunderstorm. Something very strange was happening and when I hear shattering I widen my eyes and turned around. And that's when I saw it" Ralph narrated.

*End of flashback*

"Shatterting?" Chris asks "He means the Master Emerald was broken by that Chaos creature. That was when I woke up and went to see if Ralph was okay" Knuckles said.

*Flashback*

"Ralph!" Knuckles said worried going up the stairs and sees Chaos "Hey, who's that?" Knuckles asks but Ralph was glaring at Chaos and Knuckles sees that the Master Emerald has been shattered "What happened to the Master Emerald?" Knuckles asks "That thing did it" Ralph said and Knuckles punches Chaos, but no damage is done, and Chaos in return smacks the echidna with its head, sending him towards Ralph knocking the two down the steps. Chaos then dissolves into a puddle "Wait!" Knuckles said but Chaos evaporates "Blast! Where did that thing go?" Knuckles asks and suddenly there is an earthquake "Now what?" Ralph asks and Angel Island begins to fall into the ocean "The Master Emerald keeps this island hovering in the air, but it can't if it's shattered!" Knuckles said.

*Flashback ends*

Knuckles and Ralph are silent "You shouldn't blame yourselves for what that creature did, Knuckles and Ralph" Chuck said "Big, when you were looking for Froggy in the forest, didn't you see something that looked like Chaos?" Chris asks.

*At a forest-flashback*

Chaos, in its puddle form, flows out of the rocks and forces itself inside Froggy "Hey, you find another one, Froggy?" Big asks and Froggy suddenly grows a tail "Hey, am I seein' things? You're growing a tail!" Big said and Froggy turns around to face Big, and leaps toward him as the flashback ends.

*End of flashback*

"I tried to catch Froggy, but he was faster than me, and he hopped away with something I found in the forest" Big said "What was that?" Chris asks "It was a big purple rock. It looked awful pretty when it was glowing" Big said and Chris stands up "That sounds like it could have been a Chaos Emerald!" Chris said "If that's the case, then we'd better find that little frog quick or it won't survive long" Chuck said "Why, Grandpa?" Chris asks "Because Dr. Eggman is determined to do anything to seize an Emerald. The more Emeralds he feeds that Chaos creature, the easier it will be to take over this world" Chuck said "It's vital we find those Emeralds before Eggman uses their power to conquer us all" He said "No sweat. We'll find 'em" Sonic and Brody said standing up "You have a plan, Sonic and Brody?" Chris asks "You know We prefer to think on our feet" Sonic said "Knux and I'll go and look for the broken pieces of the Master Emerald" Ralph said and Knuckles nods "I guess Big and I can go try to look for Froggy together" Chris said "Hm... That's a good idea" Big said.
