chapter 6

"Where is your friend Coop?"
Lynn asked as I walked in the living room with plates.
"He's ac-"
"He has girlfriend Lynn. Sorry, I forgot to tell you."
"Then I'll wait for him to break up."
She laughed as Larri slapped her hand and Jaden looked at me confused.
I just stayed silent and grabbed slice of pizza.

We watched TV and talked. I feel guilty for lying to Lynn, but dude I'm not going to be the one to tell her the truth.

"What was that?"
Jaden asked as we walked back in the house after Lynn and Larri left.
"What?"
"Coop?"
"Oh, uh, I-"
"He doesn't have a girlfriend."
"I know, I uh, um, he, i, uh-"
"Princess what are you hiding?"
"I, uh, nothing."
"Yes you are."
"I can't tell you Jaden."
"Why?"
"Cause."
"That's not the answer."
I shrugged my shoulders and walked upstairs.
"Hey!"
"You did that few days ago."
"Lexi come here right now!"
"No."
I walked in the room going to change my clothes.
"Why did the same Coop today tell me to say hi to you? And now you are hiding something? For him, with him, whatever."
"Well good to know."
I said changing my pants.
"Lexi!"
"What?!"
"Tell me what the fuck are you hiding!"
He yelled getting closer to me. Not gonna lie, I was low-key scared. He looked so pissed. But I couldn't tell him Cooper's secret. I just stayed silent.
"Lexi. This is your last chance to tell me what the fuck is with you and Coop!"
He was still walking to me and I was going backwards untill I hit the drawers.
"Fuck." I said under my breath.
"Alex fucking Dawson."
I just looked scared at him, tears filling my eyes as my vision became blurry because of them.
He was so close to me, I could feel his breathing in my face.
"I can't tell you." I said, my voice shaky, tears running down my face.
"Did you two fucked?! You like him?!"
That's enough. I slapped him across his face. I put my hand over my mouth as his hands formed in fists and his jaw was clenching.
"Did you fuck him?!"
"Do I look like a fucking slut?! I'm in your house 24 hours a fucking day and you ask me if I fucked somebody else! I didn't thought you are cheating on me when you turned your phone away from me! Fuck Jaden, I expected better from you. I'm not a person who says I love you and go around fucking other people. Relationships are built up on trusting each other, and you don't fucking trust me! Fuck you Jaden."
I got on shirt that was in my hand and walked out the room, grabbing my phone and leaving the house. I walked out the gates and figured the way to Addison's house, since it was the closest.
I texted her to open me the gate. I walked in the house, tears still streaming down my face.

"Lex, what happened?"
Bryce said worried walking out the kitchen, embracing me in tight hug.
I didn't know what to say.
"Did Jaden do anything?"
"Lexi, oh my God!"
Addison yelled walking down the stairs and hugging me as Bryce let me go.
"I'll beat his ass I swear."
"Come here."
Addison pulled me to kitchen.
"Here."
She said handing me water bottle.
"Tell me what happened."
"H-e got m-mad cause I, I di-didn't wanted to tell h-him why I-I lied that Coop has gi-girlfriend and he t-thought that I slept wi-with him, he was so mad, I tho-thought he is go-goin to hit me."
"Motherfucker."
Addison said slamming the counter behind her.
"Look, you know he wouldn't hit you?"
Bryce said placing both of his hands on my shoulders.
"But he-he was so m-mad."
"I am going to talk to him."
He said walking away.
"No Bryce please."
"Bryce calm down."
Addison said stopping in front of him.
"I need to talk to him!"
"You can't right now. Okay?"
"Ughh."
Bryce walked to me and picked me up and walked somewhere. When he put me down I realized we are in living room.
"I'll make you two popcorns and get you ice cream."
He said and Addison cuddled me.
"What you wanna watch baby?"
I just shrugged my shoulders.
