chapter 21

I woke up hearing the bang in the room. I quickly opened my eyes and sat up on bed, to see Jaden getting ready, picking up the box of his watch from the floor.
"Sorry baby."
"It's fine. What are you doing?"
"Getting ready?"
"Why?"
"I'm going somewhere with Nick, we'll be home soon."
"Where are you taking him?"
"I think you'll need to wait few hours for that information."
I narrowed my eyebrows. What is that I can't know about?
"Don't worry baby, you should go back to sleep, it's to early to be up for you." He said smirking.
I looked at my phone to see it's 9:47am. Ugh.
"Okay, well at least call me if something happens, or just to let me know that you are alive."
He chuckled, walking closer to me and bending down to my level.
"You know I will, call me if you need anything, okay? Also I think Bryce and Addison will be busy today with babies rooms and stuff, so she might not pick up if you call her."
"Oh, okay. I guess I'm left all alone then." I said with frown.
"Sorry baby. But trust me on this one."
"I always trust you." I said making him smile big.
He pecked my lips stroking my hair and walked to doors.
"Bye angel."
"Bye baby."
He closed the doors and I flopped back down on the bed. What am I going to do all alone for few hours?
I could work out maybe huh? And then shower and then tan? Yeah, I think that'll do.
I walked to bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face.

JADEN'S P.O.V.

I walked out the room and got downstairs, to see Nick waiting for me.
"Kay bud, what are we driving today?" I asked as we walked to garage.
"No shit! You have Lambo?"
I smirked nodding.
"Can we use him today than?"
"Yes, we can. It's fun how your sister doesn't like Lambo as much, and then you are the complete opposite."
"I know, she's kinda stupid."
He said as we sat in the car, opening the garage doors.
"Hey, you're my lil bro, but don't you dare to talk like that about my girl."
"Woo man, chill. She's my sister at the first place."
He said smirking.
"And she's my girlfriend at the first place."
I said giving him a smirk starting the car and driving off to the road.

"Anyways, what are we doing, you didn't tell me anything?"
We were now about hour and 40 minutes of drive.
"I want to give her something, it's for both, her and me, but I planned on it for two weeks now, and I need your help now that you're here." I said pulling in the driveway of the house.
"And what is it?"
"You'll see."
I said locking the car and walking to the doors, knocking on it. A woman around 55, maybe 60 years old opened the doors.
"Hello. Jaden, Jaden Hossler, we talked through the phone."
"Oh yeah, hi. I'm Sheri."
She said shaking my and Nick's hand.
"Nick."
She nodded smiling.
"Come in."

"Sorry for the smell by the way, but what can I do." She said as we walked in smaller house in her yard.
"Here they are." She said revealing the part with small fence where are the little puppies were. Yellow Labradors.
"Oh my God, you are buying a dog?"
"Yeah, do you think it's a good idea?"
"Yes!"
Nick jumped over the fence that wasn't even our knee height and squatted down to play with puppies.
"They all got vaccines a week ago, and they are ready to go right now if you want them."  She said as I looked at her and nodded. All the puppies were jumping on Nick, licking his face as he played around with them. Except one. One who was constantly jumping on my right leg trying to get my attention.
"Hey," I said squatting down and picking him up to see if it's boy or girl, "Bud."
I smiled as he started licking my face.
"He is a little problematic one." She said pointing to puppy in my hands.
"Aren't we all sometimes?"
I said chuckling playing with puppy.
Nick and Sheri giggled at my statement.
"I think that one is for you and her." Nick said pointing to me and puppy who was jumping on my lap.
"You think so?"
"Definitely."
"Okay."
"I'll get you his papers." She said walking away and Nick and I got up.
I held a puppy in my hands, so he won't mix with others.
"She's gonna be so happy."
"I hope so."
"That's her favorite dog in the world, of course she is."
"Okay here they are."
She handed me the papers while Nick grabbed little puppy from my hands.

I paid her and we said our bye's and sat in the car.
"You know, I think buying puppy for your girlfriend and you is a big movement. It's like starting a family." Nick said buckling his belt as puppy got comfortable on his lap, looking at me.
"Well, that's good, cause I want that."
"What?"
"Oh, buddy, I'm gonna marry your sister. I just need to wait for some more time."
His eyes widened as he put his hand over his mouth.
"What? You don't want your sister to be with me? And you better move that hand from your mouth, those puppies were dirty."
"No, I do! But she needs to be 18, right?"
"I know, that's what I'm telling you."
"Do you love her?"
"Yes I do. Very much. Not that I just love her, I'm in love with her. That's something different and stronger."
He grinned at me.
"Do you think she loves me?"
"Are you crazy?! Of course she does, do you see the way she looks at you dude?"
I chuckled, stopping at red light.
"But please, don't hurt her. She doesn't deserve it."
"I hope I won't ever, cause that's the last thing I wanna do in my life." I said looking him dead in the eyes as he nodded.
"But hey, this is staying between us, right?"
"Okay." He smirked.
"Anyway, do you have a girl huh?"
I said giving him a quick look before focusing my eyes back on the road.
As he stayed silent I looked again at him, just to see him blushing and smilling like crazy.
"Woohoo, lil Nicky's blushing cause of girl!" I cheered up, making puppy get up. Suddenly he gained his energy jumping on me.
"Woo dude, are you crazy? I don't wanna die today." I said pushing little puppy from me.
I looked at him to see his puppy eyes all glossy as he waited for me to let him drive in my lap.
"Oh come on Jaden. Let him drive a bit with you." Nick said. I put my arm out, so puppy could jump on my lap.
"Woah there, don't be all problematic now. If cops get us, we'll need to explain our circumstances."
Nick and me chuckled as the puppy looked around at cars passing by. Just as he puts his paws on the window, we passed the cop car.
"Shit." I said as they turned around turning on their lights, making me pull aside.
I rolled down my window as one of them walked to our car.
"Hello."
"I see you got a helper for driving huh?"
He said looking at the puppy on my lap.
"Sorry sir. We just got him and he jumped in my lap. It's a surprise for my girlfriend."
"You know that's against the law, right?"
"Look sir, what do you say if you and your partner go and get the drink, my girlfriend and his sister is waiting for us whole morning."
I said reaching out for my wallet getting out twenty dollars.
He shook his head no.
"Okay then, maybe this will help." I said getting a fifty more dollars out. Better then paying few hundreds for driving with dog in my lap.
"Just try on not doing it again."
He said grabbing the money for my hand.
"Of course, have a good day."
I rolled up my window and Nick looked at me with wide eyes.
"Did you just pay him not to give you ticket?"
"Yeah, this law is broken." I said starting my car again as I moved puppy from my lap to his and drove back home, as both of us chuckled.

"I think he will mark his territory on me if you don't stop the car."
Nick said as the terrified look on his face made me laugh. I stopped the car and he jumped out with puppy letting him do what he needs.
"Ay, you ain't sitting on my lap no more, you just peed." He said putting puppy down between his legs on the floor.
I laughed starting car again.
