chapter 38

A little bit over three weeks passed by. Right now, Jaden, Amy, John and I are currently in car going to Kevin, today he should take off Jaden's cast off.

Last three weeks were a real wave. Jaden couldn't stand it for God's sake and when it went down the hill he'd say that he can't do it anymore and would break down crying. it was really bad, he couldn't stand being in house all the time, not being able to use his other hand, his wound on the chest too, it was really lot for him to handle at the time, but we all tried our best helping him. Amy also wanted to take him to therapist, just so he could get some help or something, but of course he thought we are calling him crazy and weak, so we had an argument about it too. But hopefully, when he takes off the cast and starts being able to do everything on his own, it will start getting better. All other scars beside the gun shoot wound faded away, but there still is a scar and it will stay there forever, but he also got his energy back, he doesn't need help walking up the stairs or anything like it.

"Finally." Jaden muttered unbuckling his seat belt as we all got out the car.
"Are you excited to take it off?" I asked smiling after he interlocked our hands together.
"Fuck yes. I lived for this day to come."
He said with a smirk on his face squeezing my hand a bit as I let out a chuckle.

3RD PERSON

Four of them got in the elevator and got to room they went two weeks ago when Kevin checked Jaden's arm.
"Hello guys." Kevin said standing up from his chair and taking his glasses off.
They all said their hi's and he checked Jaden's arm once again to make sure he can take the cast off.
He slowly took it down and told Jaden to do some stuff with his arm to see how it goes.
"Everything seems perfectly fine and bone is back like it was two months ago." Kevin said smiling.
"Fuck yes." Jaden said getting up and pulling Lexi in a tight hug, lifting her off the ground.
"I wanted this so bad." He whispered in her ear letting her down and pulling away hugging Amy and then John.
After they finished everything there, they walked through halls, to the elevator, making their way out of that horrible building. Jaden used every chance he had to do something with his left arm as the smile didn't fade away from his face. They could finally see him genuinely smiling and being happy.

He opened the doors for them, taking one more chance to use his left hand for something.
As they walked out, he picked Lexi up by her waist and she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck, squealing as he spun them around. Amy and John smiled, looking at couple, both of them happy to see Jaden with somebody who deserves him, before sitting in the car.
"Thank you for not leaving me." Jaden said resting his forehead on Lexi's, his right hand on her waist, left one caressing her cheek.
"I wouldn't ever leave you." She said as her hands played with his hair on the back of his head.
"I love you so much." He whispered as his nose touched hers.
"I love you baby." She said in soft tone pulling him closer by back of his neck and connecting their lips.
"Let's go home, far away from this place." She said pulling away and pulling him with her to the car. Jaden's smile just grew bigger as he watched girl of his dreams happily walk with him to the car. He took a chance to open doors for her, this time using his right hand.
"Always been a gentleman." She said smiling as he let out a chuckle.
"Ready to go kids?" John asked looking at the couple in little mirror.
"Yup." Lexi said moving her hair behind her shoulders.
Jaden just looked at the girl, thinking of how much he's in love with her and imagining him getting home from his job and walking in the kitchen to see Lexi playing with their son and Marley while making some food and listening to music while she had belly up to chin, having more kids on the way in the future. He couldn't wait for that time to come and if he could, he'd give everything to have that right now, because that girl stole his heart and is not planning on giving it back, just like he isn't planning on giving her hers.
"Whatcha staring at?" She asked looking at him smiling, snapping Jaden out of his thoughts.
"Just my beautiful girlfriend." He said and she awed at the blue eyed guy, even though it sounded a bit cheesy to her, just a tiny bit, but Jaden would always tell her something like that so she started getting used to it.
Jaden texted Addison to come to their place later that day, a little family day before Amy and John leave.

While Lexi was doing something in kitchen with Amy and John was playing with Marley, Jaden took a chance to grab his laptop and make a reservation for vacation he planned a whole month. He couldn't wait to go somewhere with Lexi, he wanted to show her the whole world. But little did he know how much mess that vacation will cause.

Gate thing buzzed, alarming that someone got in the yard. Soon enough, Addison and Bryce walked in the house, along with Archie.
"Hey brother." Addison said leaving a bag with snacks on the living room table walking to Jaden, who closed his laptop, getting up from comfortable couch.
"Hi sister, hi chickens." Jaden said hugging Addison and kissing her belly.
"Why are you alone here?"
"Oh, I was just doing something on laptop."
"Oh, well how are you feeling? Finally took that shit off of your arm huh?"
She asked smiling and grabbing his arm swaying it around.
"Yeah, I finally got myself back." Jaden said with a chuckle.

Together, they walked to kitchen as everyone greeted each other with hugs and hi's.

The day went by, they ate dinner, had a lots of fun, until Addison, Bryce and Archie left, and the rest of them went to their rooms to sleep.
"Hey, can we go tomorrow to pick up pictures?"
"Which pictures?"
"You know, from gender reveal party."
"Oh, yeah sure."
"Yay." Lexi said laying down in the bed with Jaden who immediately pulled her on his chest, cuddling.
"Fuck yeah." Jaden said squeezing her body as she let out a giggle. He missed cuddling with her.
"I made a reservation."
"Reservation?"
"Yes, I told you we are going somewhere when I get my cast off."
"Oh, where are you taking me?"
Lexi asked now getting interested in her boyfriends words.
"Mm, I'll leave it as surprise again."
"Nohoo, I wanna now."
"I can't tell you, but it's somewhere with beach. And blue water."
"Ookayy." Lexi said thinking where could that be. There was too many places, how could she find out where are they going?
"And when are we going?"
"In three days."
"You didn't give me time to get ready!"
"What, we can go shopping tomorrow or day after, it's not like you need to bring many clothes, we won't be wearing them that much anyways." Jaden said making a girl get her head up from his chest looking at him.
"What, we are gonna be wearing swimsuits." Jaden said with smirk on his face, knowing what she thought in her head. She nodded her head, humming, getting back in the position she was few seconds ago.
Soon, they both fell asleep in each other embraces, both of them happy.
