I knocked on the door and waited. A couple of minutes later, Justin appeared. "What are you doing here?"
"It's nice to see you too."
"I'm being serious."
"I've been visiting my mom for a couple of days, and everyday I've been to the hill hoping to bump into a certain somebody but no such luck, so here I am."
"Right."
"Anyway, we're going out."
"Are we now?"
"Yes."
"What happens if I don't want to go out?"
"Please?"
"Fine, you'll have to come in whilst I get changed." I stepped inside and wiped my feet on the mat before closing the door behind me. "It's been a while since I've been here."
"Yeah well, I'll be back." I watch Justin disappear upstairs before putting my hands in my pockets and looking around the hallway.***
"Where are we going?" Justin asked as he jogged to catch up with me.
"I haven't decided yet."
"But it's getting dark?"
"So?"
"You might murder me."
"Why would I do that?"
"I don't know." I came to a stop under a street light. "Why did you make me come out with you?" Justin asked as he came to a stop next to me.
"I just wanted to see you."
"Why?"
"I-I miss you."
"What?"
"When Willam first introduced us, my mind just went back to the time I kissed you on the hill."
"You shouldn't be saying this."
"Why not?"
"You've got Chad now, you're happy and you should just forget what happened."
"I've been trying for a few days now to break up with him, it's hard though because I don't want to hurt him with everything going on with his mom."
"You really shouldn't be saying this." Justin muttered as he shook his head.
"Just listen to me."
"I don't want to." He said as he covered his ears with his hands.
"I want you Justin." I said as I pulled his hands away.
"No, no you don't, you didn't want me for five years and you don't want me now."
"I do, I want you, I like Chad but, I like you more." There was a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder before it started raining heavily. "C'mon, let's go." I grabbed Justin's hand and pulled him away. We found shelter just inside the church entrance. "I've always wanted to kiss in the rain like in all the romantic films." Justin sighed as he leant against the wall.
"Do it then."
"What?" I took Justin's hand once more and lead him out into the rain.
"Kiss me."
"No."
"Kiss me."
"I can't, I'd feel so bad."
"Just do it." Justin leaned forward and kissed me; my hands made their way to his waist whilst he wrapped his arms around my neck. "Wasn't that hard was it?" I said as I smirked at Justin.
"I still feel bad."
"Don't."
"I can't help it."
"How was kissing in the rain?"
"Not as great as they make it look, I'm just soaked and cold."
"Same."
"We should probably get back before we catch our death."
"Agreed." I took Justin's hand in mine and we made our way back to his house.***
"Well, this is where I leave you." I laughed as we stood in the porch.
"Come in."
"Are you sure?"
"I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't sure." Justin unlocked the door and I followed him inside. "Justin, is that you?" Pam asked as she emerged out of the kitchen. "Oh, Aaron."
"Hi Pam."
"I wasn't expecting to see you love."
"I was visiting my mom for a couple of days and thought I'd come and see Justin."
"I think I need to have words with you." She said as she put her hands on her hips.
"Mom, it's fine, he explained what really happened."
"Sorry?"
"It's sorted." Pam smiled before pulling me into a hug, "good, I don't think I could've been angry with you." She laughed
"We're going to get changed, we're soaked." Justin said.
"Alright then." We went to leave the room. "Oh, Aaron?" I turned around to face Pam.
"Yeah?"
"It's good to see you."***
"I should probably get going." I said as I stood up.
"You better come and say goodbye before you leave."
"I leave early tomorrow morning."
"You could just stay here with me?"
"I thought you said you'd feel bad?" I smirked.
"Alright, if you don't want to."
"I didn't say that."
"Then why are you stood over there?" Justin smirked.
