When the daylight comes through the windows I wake up as I stay laying in bed, thankfully I have today off. My mind travels to last night when Paul came over, I can't believe I almost let him kiss me. What was I thinking? Who am I kidding, I wasn't thinking and I'm sure he knows that, I bet he just came over here to try and get under my skin.
I'm sure Quil mentioned to him that I'm dating someone and he decided to come over last night to try and see if he could seduce me again. I scoff as I get out bed and get ready for the day, how could I have been so stupid to just let him in my house like that? I'm going to call Quil, he has to know that giving Paul my address wasn't okay. The phone rings a few times before Quil answers.
"Hello?" The groggy voice speaks.
"Quil..." I sigh in annoyance.
"Willow, do you know what time it is?" He grumbles.
I glance at the clock on my night stand in the living room."It's eight am." I answer him casually.
He's probably pissed that I woke him up this early but I'm pissed that he gave Paul my address.
"Exactly. This better be important... I'm tired." He groans.
"It is important. What were you thinking when you gave Paul my address?" I say in frustration, I cross my arms.
"Damn it..." He sighs.
"That's what I thought. You weren't thinking." I frown softly.
"Willow, I'm sorry. He kind of got it out of me..." He sounds truly apologetic which makes me feel bad.
"You don't say." I decide on making my tone softer.
"After you left yesterday he started asking me about you and how you've been. I didn't mention Matt but he just casually asked me where you lived and..." Quil trails off.
"Okay. Well, he already knows about Matt so that's out of the bag." I tell him.
"He does?" His tone switches to surprised. "How'd that go?"
"I mean, it's not any of his business who I'm with or what I'm doing but he seemed not to care." For some reason I feel annoyed that he didn't become jealous.
There's a silence on the phone for a few seconds before Quil responds.
"That's good, right? I mean for you. He didn't get possessive..." He says gently.
"Maybe he's moved on from me." I hear myself say glumly. But that makes me hypocrite considering I have a boyfriend.
"I'm sorry for giving him your address. But if he has moved on from you then I doubt he'll show up again." He tells me.
"I don't think he will either." I say agreeing with him.
"Can I go back to bed now?" He asks. I chuckle lightly.
"Sure. Talk to you later." I reply.
Our phone call ends and I decide on going for a jog, it's nice outside and I don't have work today so I figure it couldn't hurt. I put on a hoodie and come comfortable leggings before tying up my sneakers and getting in the car.
I drive down to a good area near the woods as I take a path that I've seen most joggers take. Once I put my headphones in I begin taking the pathway as the upbeat music fills my ears. My eyes take in the greenery around me and the moss covered tree trunks, it really is beautiful here in Forks.
Colorado definitely has a different kind of beauty to it, but both beautiful states regardless. After jogging for a while I decide on taking a break and stopping for a rest as I lean up against a tree. My phone buzzes in my pocket as I look down to check it.
