"Five, sweetheart, calm down." Nine assures the man whose hands start to shake from nervousness. "They won't be due until next week, you know." She chuckles, watching him run a hand through his hair.

Five gives her a smile, yet his eyes show concern. "Ahh, I know! I'm just really excited."

"Oh really? Hard to tell." Nine snorts, replying with a sarcastic tone.

"I love you," Five breathes out, staring at her with his eyes full of love. Nine smiles at her, placing her hands on each side of his cheeks. They leaned in, their foreheads touching so gently. Five crept one his hand on her waist, the other gently rubbing her abdomen.

"I love you too--" Nine's face changed as she pulls away from Five to clutch her abdomen. She lets out a soft groan, earning a worried look from her husband. Five quickly went behind her to balance her, his hands tightly gripping her hips. "Ahh..."

"W-what's wrong? Did your water broke?!" Five panicked, looking down if her legs were soaked. But, there was nothing.

Nine waves her hand, her face still held a pained look. "N-no... I'm alright. I'm okay."

"I think you should at least lay down for a while," Five suggested, a frown plastered on his lips. Nine shakes her head, making him sigh. "Nine--"

She turns around to look at him, and Five cringed as she glares at him. "I said I'm fine." Nine answered, her voice rising out of anger.

Five didn't say a word when Nine looked away from him, seemingly embarrassed at the fact she raised her voice at him. Nine was about to open her mouth to apologize when Five shakes his head. "I'm sorry..." he apologized.

He backed away from her, causing her to frown at him in the process. "No, I'm..." Nine starts, slowly raising her hand out for him. A pained look was plastered on her face when Five didn't reciprocate nor acknowledge her. He seemingly looked down, as if fighting back tears.

"Five..." She whispers, her hands shaking. She backs away, sighing. Five didn't move from his spot and continued staring at the ground. "I'll lay down for a bit. I'm sorry." Nine simply tells him. Five quickly raised his head, watching Nine turn around, and slowly walked away from him, trying to balance herself.

"I can't wait to meet them," he calls out, causing her to freeze. "And when they do, I'll protect them. I'll take care of them. And..."

Nine meets his eyes, and Five walks up to her, "And I'll love them as much as I love you."

Nine lets out a soft chuckle as Five pester her face with kisses. "You'll be a great father, Five. Nothing will ever change that," she whispers and Five planted a soft kiss on her lips. The kiss lasted for a good solid 10 seconds before they pull away to gasp for air.

"I love you. I love you so much," Five breathes out, kissing her forehead.

"I love you too."

Five slowly swings his arm to hug his wife but was surprised when he felt nothing besides him. His eyes adjusted to the moonlight shining towards his face as he cleared his raspy throat. "Nine...?" he calls out, and he stood up while looking around. "Nine?"

He suddenly felt uneasy, as if something was wrong. Terribly wrong.

"Nine?" He called out once again, now getting worried than ever. "Nine!" Five stood up from the ground, running his shaky hand through his grey hair. He ran all around the place where he's at, but couldn't find his missing wife anywhere.
