(Y/n) pov
Suddenly we were surrounded, in walks azula with a smirk on her face.
"Well well well, look what we have here the avatar"
"Azula please stop" i look towards her and she scowls
"(Y/n) this doesn't concern you"
"Doesn't concern me? He's supposed to bring peace to this world and you keep trying to harm that!"
"Peace? Why do we need that when we can rule all of the world!"
Anger builds up within me but before I could speak any words a fight breaks out.
I try my best to protect everyone from azulas blasts.
"Get out of my way (y/n)! I will kill you if I have to!"
Those words shatter me.
"You're going to kill me? azula you're supposed to be my best friend! My sister! How dare you say that!"
"Don't make me laugh you choose your side"
"I didn't choose anything!"
The crystals shoot up and pin several dailee agents to the walls.
The fighting continues zuko and I back to back fighting off what we could when suddenly azula speaks again.
"Oh zuzu don't you miss home, all of this could be over if you just help me! You'll redeem yourself, father will welcome you. You can regain your honor" zuko paused
"Don't do it zuko!" Iroh yells towards his nephew, zuko turns to look at me then back at aang.
"I'm sorry (y/n)"
Everything was dark after that.
I woke up to the feeling of slight swaying, I was on a boat. But why what happened. The door opened and there stood azula, nausea came over me as she rushed to bring me a bucket. She rubbed my back while I blew chuncks and held my hair back.
"I'm sorry I said some nasty things to you"
All the thoughts rushed back and I pushed her away.
"What the hell happened, why am I here"
She frowned and sat next to me.
"I just wanted to capture the avatar but zuzu had other plans"
"What do you mean"
"The avatars dead, zuzu killed him" her tone was filled with excitement as I threw up some more.
"How could he do that" I began to shake with uncontrollable anger.
"I want to hear it from him"
She was shocked
"You don't believe me? Why would I lie to you?"
Tears welled up in my face, as I sobbed into azulas arms. She wouldn't no matter what evil she had done she wouldn't do such a thing.
"The truth of the matter (y/n), you shouldn't be mad at him. What he did was a good thing and our world will finally come to pass"
Silence washed over when ty lee came in with some food.
"You must be hungry you've been out cold for like a week"
I jump up
"WHAT A WEEK?!"
"calm down she said LIKE a week, its been I would say five days?" Azula intergects.
After my stomach calms down I eat the food that was prepared and sit with azula and tailee for a while longer.
"A whole five days huh? Did I Miss anything other then aang dying?"
"Maybe one? Zuko and mai finally got together!" Ty lee says with pure excitement. That broke me even more. I faked a smile and got up.
"Excuse me"
I walked above deck to see it was true. Zuko and mai had their lips locked onto one another, I felt this fire burning within me but it was interrupted by mais voice.
"Hey you're up" I nod not meeting zukos gaze. She walks towards me to give me a pat pat on the head. "Good to see you awake" I give a weak smile as she checks my forehead. She let's out a sigh and drags me back to my bed. "You have a fever you should still be resting" I stayed silent as she tucked me in. The girls all said goodnight to me and walked out.
A day later we arrived back home, it felt different somehow. I stand in the crowd while li and lo announce the arrival of azula and zuko.
With all the cheering its hard to think even from the distance I caught zukos gaze, turning away I head out to go somewhere else to figure my feelings out. First of all aang being gone, zuko and mai being together and instead of being with Katara now which I should be i was dragged back home! I'm the traitor from now on, azula can drag me anywhere but I'm contacting katara or Sokka anyone!
After the announcement, I head to azula to ask her for a tiny favor. I told her I wanted a messenger hawk to send her messages whenever she was busy or what not. My dear hawk friends name is (A/N). From memory I sketched a drawing of katara and sokka to show (a/n) in hopes she would find them.
"Dear katara, sokka and toph. The recent news of aangs passing has my heart shattered. I was told zuko had done it, there is no redeeming these monsters. Please if you have a plan to bring the world to peace I am all ears. I have no hope in this world as of right now but katara you always do. Lend me that hope and let me help you. Sincerely, your friend (y/n)"
"(A/n), go!"
Now all I gotta do is wait for a reply, I pray they are all safe. Please let what azula told me be the biggest lie. Aangs okay right he has to be.
