It's been a while since I sent Kamara my letter, whether (A/N) found them or not I will continue to hold on to the fact I know this isn't the end.

There's a knock at my door I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone. "(Y/n)?"
It was zuko
"I'm busy come back later" I say with a scowl, the AUDACITY.

"I need help"

"Sorry (y/n) isn't here at the moment leave a message at the KAW KAW"

"Why are you being so hostile towards me WE WON?"
I swing open the door and walk past him as he follows after me.

"If you want to talk to someone talk to your GIRLFRIEND"

"Why are you being like this? You always stood by me and I thought we were closer then that!"
I give him a dirty look and scoff

"You're right, I always stood by you even when I shouldn't of, I shouldn't be here I should be helping anyway I can to stop this war"

"The War will be over once we win"

"You and I BOTH KNOW it won't just be like that, you've traveled you've seen how bad the fire nation has messed up everyone's lives, yes I'm greatful to live in a palace but at what cost? My friend died to your hands!"

"That's not what happened it was azu-"

"I'm sick and tired of the lies leave me alone"

"Azula killed him not me"

"Oh now you wanna pretend you didn't do it to try to get on my good side whether you did it or not he still died"
The frustration has been building up and the tears began to flow

"Zuko you don't understand the big picture, not one bit. I want to be here with the people I love but I can't look at any of you anymore I need a break"

I stormed off to get some air, as beautiful as the fire nation seems all I see I carnage and it's unforgivable. I wandered around for a while until I reached the tower of criminals, using that term lightly because Iroh is no criminal.

"Stay where you are! Oh (y/n) what are you doing here?"

"Good Afternoon ming, how are you? Could I visit with iroh for a moment?"

"I'm doing well, I'm not sure if that's a good idea, people might think you're plotting"

"You know me! Everyone sees him a traitor but he's still family to me I just want to see how he's doing"

"I can understand that, alright but just for a little bit"

She led me to his cell and left us to speak on our own.
"Hi iroh"

"My neice, how are you?"

"I should be the one asking, this cell looks awful I snuck in some of your favorite tea and some cake don't ask how I think I was a magician in a previous life" he gives me a soft smile and we dig in.

"Zukos infuriating I can't believe you ended up in here when you were just trying to bring peace I should be In here too I don't understand why they didn't lock me up with you"

"Everything happens just how its supposed to, I wouldn't want this life for you either. Maybe this is a good thing, if you truly believe you can help go and find those who that are in your heart"

"Aangs gone, Katara hasn't responded and I'm more than worried, you aren't a traitor no matter what anyone says you're a hero in my book"
