Todays a good day I can feel it! This city is huge and so beautiful, they didn't need me at work today so I figured I'd just adventure around
Zukos pov
There's this girl that keeps coming around work, I think she knows who I am let's give her a piece of my mind!
"Nephew that girl over there likes you, she only comes here to see you don't ya know?"
Huh me? Why me? I huff and walk up to her
"My uncle gave me these coupons for you, a free tea. You do come in here a lot"
"Oh thank you! I was wondering, are you busy tonight?"
"Um actually"
"he's free!" Uncle iroh shouted to everyone and for some reason my face got red.
"That's great! Meet me at the end of your shift!"
Time passed and I was all ready
"I look ridiculous"
"Nonsense nephew you look like a handsome young gentlemen!"
"I don't think so, can you let (y/n) know I stepped out for a while"
"Yes, speaking of which where'd she run off to? It's getting late"
"You know her, adventures are her hobby"
"That's a very true statement there"
Time for a date? Is what my uncle called it.
(Y/n) pov
What a lovely day
"Zuko, iroh I'm back"
"Oh hey, zuko is on a date he'll be back shortly"
"Zuko? On a date?" I chuckle at that comment "where is he really?"
"On a date, you know that girl that's always at the shop, she asked him to one"
"Wait your serious? I think I left something outside I'll be back!"
I begun my search, is he that stupid? Does he not get how I feel? Maybe I should say it, but what about Mei. I stop in my tracks and look up into the sky. It's getting darker and my mind is filling up with selfish thoughts. That's not who I am, i can't stop his choices. In the end, who am I kidding he would never pick me.
A voice deeper yells to me to not give up on love but seriously what's the point. The tears start to well up in my eyes. How long will i stand here, I wish I knew. I walk back and see something I wasn't ready for, zuko kissing that women my heart stops and I turn and run. It's pounding louder and louder until I can no longer breathe.
Why am I such a dramatic teenager, I just told myself to not but even so it hurts. I can admit it I'll scream it if I have to.
"Zuko i"
I hear panting next to me and I get startled
"You what?"
"Zuko what are you?"
"Why did you run? Are you crying? What happened?"
I sniffle and laugh a little
"One question at a time please, I'm fine"
The fake smile began to fade because I couldn't fake it longer then a second.
"I pushed her away"
"Huh? Pushed who what?"
"You saw that didn't you? The kiss?"
"A kiss what are you talking about" the fake laughter just kept coming out
"(Y/n)"
He stared deeply into my eyes, like he could see right through me. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain.
"Cra"
I fainted and woke up at home. I walked to the bathroom and saw what I think is a girl worse nightmare.
"Oh no, azula told me this would happen but why now"
I awkwardly peak my head out and yell for iroh
"Yes what Is it?"
"Um well I uh"
Trying to get the words out to a male is so tedious and frightening.
"Blood"
"BLOOD WHERE?"
"Shhhh keep it down i don't want zuko to hear!"
"Well when you say blood I gotta ask"
I gave him the look and he knew without even saying words. I hid in the bathroom and I sighed really loud.
Maybe that's why I freaked so much, but that's no exscuse azula acts crazy all the time and she's not on her...none of that! Zuko was probably so freaked out, especially because I fainted. Why did I faint? Bless uncle iroh for coming to the rescue!
I washed up and walked out to see zuko relaxing by the window, him relaxing is kinda off setting.
"Are you Okay? You scared me last night!"
"Zuko that's enough give (y/n) some space"
At age (y/a) and I just got my period.
