"Now that I'm here the rules are going to have to change"

"What do you think they have for lunch today?"

Allan held Jakes hand while they walked behind Dion, the said black haired boy secretly rolling his eyes. Jake threw his head backwards and groaned.

"It feels like I'm back in High School! I thought I had passed that moment already..."

Dion opened the cafeteria doors, completely ignoring the two other boys whom he had promised to have lunch with. Much to his dismay, the whole place was packed. Immediately when they stepped in the students stated to stare, just like they always did, and Allan and Jake grew a little tense. Back in high school, people would always stare when the kings entered the cafeteria, but now it hadn't happened in several years.

Allan and Jake knew that their stares were because of Dion, but soon enough the students noticed them too. It must be weird to see someone other than Aiden hang out with Dion, and once you actually pay attention to Allan and Jake, they can be both very scary and very handsome. It wasn't long before all the girls and even some guys in the cafeteria whispered about them, rumors traveling from ear to ear.

Dion ignored them so Allan and Jake did the same, walking up to the lunchline like before.

"I heard that they are transfers from Harold's University"

Allan grew tense on the inside, hoping nobody would blow their cover. Dion also heard the whispers, rolling his eyes. He knew that they weren't from Harold's University, so they must clearly have faked it to get in. But it's not like he would have exposed them even if Aiden wasn't threatened. He doesn't meddle in other peoples business.

"See them? They are both taking combat and gym, they are strong as h*ll"

It was finally their turn to take food, shoving some expensive meat soup into their bowls and picking up their trays. Dion scanned the cafeteria for any empty tables, finally spotting one in the far corner. It was the perfect spot for them to be somewhat left alone. He started walking towards the table, fully knowing that the two others would follow like two lost puppies.

Finally they got to sit down and take a rest from the constant stares and whispers. Jake dug into his food immediately while Allan stirred around in his soup. Dion stared at them for a short while before hesitantly picking up his spoon and eating the soup in the most mannered way he could think of. No bending down, no spilling or shaking or slurping. Always sit straight and never make a mess. The classical table rules he had learned from his first teacher.

After a few minutes in silence Allan cleared his throat, determined to make some progress in their difficult relationship. The other two looked at the blond boy, one coldly and one lovingly.

"Since this is the first time we meet under such... civil circumstances, how about we introduce ourselves again? I'll go first- I'm Allan Wood, and I like to be social and hang out with friends"

Jake swallowed his soup.

"I'll go second! I'm Jake Chess and I like fighting and bringing bad people down, oh and I also like Allan! No I mean I love Allan!"

Dion and Allan both grew red at Jakes blunt words, coughing and Dion almost chocking on his soup while Jake looked at them with an oblivious face. Dion was surprised that Jake was so confident about their relationship, not to mention that he had just assumed they were together. Now it was confirmed and it didn't surprise him, but it sure was flustering to such a strict and innocent boy.
