"You're really weird, but maybe that's because everyone else is wrong and you are right?"
👑
"He arrived yesterday in a black car, me and Toby saw the whole thing through our window"
A tall boy whispered to his friend, both of them looking at the new student at their school. Since it was a school for boys, there was a clear power play at all times, some students being lesser than others. It was important that new students got ranked, which is why the boys in class C wondered if he would he be weak or strong?
The student had black hair and gray eyes. He looked unfriendly but his frame in itself wasn't that threatening, being shorter than most students at the school. Nobody had heard him speak ever since he had arrived a day ago, and he didn't even have a roommate like the rest of them. The new boy shuffled around in his blue uniform and gazed out the window, ignoring everyone else and their curious whispers. It wouldn't be long until he was challenged to a fight so that the students would be able to rank him.
The highest ranked boy in their grade, Zack from class A, was quick to notice the new addition to the student body. He was tall and strong for his age, with slightly longer orange tinted blond hair and sharp green eyes. He opened their classroom door with a slam, the new student sitting in class C. With confident steps he strolled up to the black haired boy, looking down at him threateningly while everyone else held their breaths. Nobody wanted to start a fight with Zack, he was already the highest ranked student in their grade.
"Hey, new kid!"
The boy in front of Zack didn't even flinch despite being able to hear him perfectly. Zack grew frustrated by the lack of response, nobody in their grade ever dared to ignore him. He was strong and unbeatable, only cowering to the students a year above them. He slammed his hand down right next to the new boys face, still not getting any form of reaction.
"Arrogant son of a-"
Zack reached out to grab his collar, lifting the new boy up from his chair and forcing him to meet his eyes. There was no reaction and no emotion in the new kids gray eyes, he barely looked alive. Zack felt confused at the weird behavior. He must be a freak, Zack was sure of that.
"What's your name?"
The boy didn't answer. Zack was blinded by rage and threw him to the ground, the boy barely flinching at the contact of the floor against his slightly shorter body. On the inside he was nervous and terrified, just like when meeting with his father. But on outside he didn't even change his expression.
The new boy felt Zack's presence over him, but still made no move to stand up. Not even when Zack's friends came along, realizing the situation and surrounding him threateningly. They waited for their leaders command.
"I'll give you one more chance. What's your name?"
The boy knew that he could just say his name and it would all be over, no pain inflicted upon him. But on the order of his father he would never cower in front of other students. Leaders don't cower.
After seconds of drawled out silence, Zack decided that it was the final straw and kicked his leg into the boys stomach. The highest ranked boy watched with amusement as his friends continued to kick after him, having no regard to the new boy under their mercy. The boy held his tongue and controlled his expressions, not making a single move to go against the students above him. He knew that if he made absolutely nothing to protect himself, Zack and his friends could be charged for assault. They might be kids but his father was still the leader of their country, no matter how unfair it seemed.
