i woke up at it was 5 o'clock on the dot. thank god for alarms. i went straight to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.
i turned my curling wand on, and started on my makeup as it heated up.
i did light makeup, lashes, powder foundation, blush, highlighter, and lip stick.
i did loose beach waves in my hair and brushed them out.
i put my clothes on, and my shoes. i put all my jewelry on and grabbed my purse. *
i headed out the door, and i was a little early, so i stopped and got a bagel and a iced coffee.
i drove to the office, and stayed in my car to eat my bagel. i was 10 minutes early so i waited 5 to go in.
i was so nervous, but i got the courage and went in.
as soon as i walked in i was greeted by a girl holding a ipad.
"are you lexy?" she said politely.
"yes." i said confidently.
"right this way ms. vanderwoodsen."
she leaded me to my own room. it was spacious enough, and had my own chair and then a couch for my clients. i also had a desk in the back for when i am doing work.
i thank her, and sit down at my new desk.
there was a piece of paper on my desk, they read directions on how to log into the office workspace wifi, and cloud.
i pulled out my computer from my tote bag, and began logging in. i heard footsteps enter my office, and i look up.
"hi, i am lisa. i am your boss."
"hello, it is a pleasure to be here." i say.
"well thank you dear." she laughed a bit. "follow me to the presentation room, we are just going to walk you through our protocols."
i nod my head and follow her.
i sit in the room, and watch a guy give a presentation for 10 minutes. i take slight notes, nothing too absurd.
it was nearing towards 7. my first clients. i sat at my desk on my computer waiting for them to come in.
i hear them opening the door so i look back at my computer.
they stand at the door and i stand up and be as welcoming as i can be.
"hi guys, i am dr. vanderwoodsen. you can take a seat on the couch." i say nicely.
they follow my instructions and sit down.
"would you guys like a beverage? i have water, sprite, and fanta."
the woman says "i will take a water please." and the man says "can i get a fanta."
i nod and walk towards my mini fridge they provided me and get the lady a voss water and the guy a fancy packaged fanta.
i go to my large ipad which i do notes on, rather than a pen and paper.
i glance at my schedule and see they're name is the vanderbuilts.
"okay guys, it looks like you guys have came in today to talk about some problems you guys want to talk about- my one rule is to not interrupt your partner when they are talking. everyones opinions and feelings are valid. let's begin with you matt."
"susan has been spending more money than we have and it has been causing my credit score to drop significantly. it makes our insurance way higher aswell."
