i want to know more about sam. when he talked it was short. one worded answers, and not very engaging.
i need to get him out of my head. today is the day of the bonfire, so i will be all alone. actually i might just hangout with my friends. i grab my phone and text the groupchat.

haley: i cant tonight ugh i have a dumb tour

me : k sweet let's meet at the café near gina's in 10???

i drop my phone on my bed and change into some light blue lululemon leggings, and a light gray champion hoodie. i put on my white air forces and grab my lanyard. i head out and start walking to the café.
i approach the café and i see ryan standing outside on his phone. not going to lie i have had a little crush on ryan since like 6th grade. i think he likes me too, but we would never date and that is final.
i smile when i see him, and say "ryan". he looks up from his phone and walks towards me. we hugged, and this hug felt way more passionate. i had my arms draped over his shoulders as we pulled away from the hug.
"it feels like i haven't seen you in forever."
"i know" i said.
i let go of him and looked around. i turn behind me and i see sam with two of his friends leaning on the ledge staring at me. my cheeks heat up. did they just watch ryan and i?
kelsey, rylee, and kyle all show up too. i hugged each of them, but not as passionately.
we went inside the café and i ordered a oreo shake. everyone had ordered, so we went to get a table outside to sit at. we all sat down, and started catching up with eachother.
the table was a huge square where each side had a bench that could fit 2 people. ryan and i sat on one bench, kyle and kelsey sat on one and rylee sat on one.
as we were talking i felt ryan's hand on my thigh. i looked up at him with a confused look. he does the little thumb thing and kept the conversation going as normal.
from the stairs infront of us, we hear loud talking and laughing. all of the juniors are coming back from the bonfire. i see tanner, carter, and nick. they lock eyes with me and make their way towards the table.
"heyy lexyyy." says them in unison.
"hi." i say nervously. "these are my friends."
"this is ryan, kelsey, kyle, and rylee."
"sup." says tanner with a little wave.
"anyways, when are you going to be back home?"
"i'm not sure." i say.
" just text us when you are coming back."
"okay." i say confused.
why would they care what time i'll be home? like honestly.
kyle, kelsey, and rylee get up and say goodbye. it was already 11 pm but who cares.
ryan and i were left.
i sit up more straight and adjust myself so i am facing ryan more.
"what was up with gripping my thigh?" i ask.
"i don't know it just felt right." ryan says as he shrugs.
i get up and sigh. i scratch my forehead and say goodnight. i start walking back to my dorm.
i enter in the password and i see the boys playing video games on the tv.
"lexy, finally."
"you had us worried."
"what do you mean?" i say as i chuckle.
"nothing lexy don't worry." says tanner.
"so what's up with that dude that you were sitting by?" asks carter.
"i've known him for forever but tonight he was way more touchy. like our hug was different than usual, and he had his hand on my thigh the whole time we were sitting."
"that's sus."
" i know." i laugh. "i'm not used to all the touching, i haven't even had my first kiss."
"YOU HAVENT HAD YOUR FIRST KISS?" say the boys in unison again.
"yeah..." i say awkwardly.
"aw that's actually kind of wholesome." says carter.
"yeah i agree." says tanner.
i look up from being embarrassed and i see sam leaning on the doorframe to our bathroom, brushing his teeth.
"since when did he get here?" i say as i face palm.
"he's been here dummy." says nick.
"and he heard all of that? oh my gosh." i shove my head in my pillow. i never want to look up again.
i hear sam laugh.
i turn over and now sam is on the floor with the boys playing a game. i get up and get my new change of pajamas out. i go into the bathroom and start the shower.
i took a hot shower, and did my night time skincare. i changed into my pajamas, brushed my hair, and put it into a loose braid.
i was wearing some pajama shorts and a bigger t shirt. i leave the bathroom and tanner says "that took so long."
"did you want to shower? i'm so sorr-"
"no i'm messing with you." tanner cuts me off.
the boys laugh and i get into my bed.
i am on my phone and sam says "where am i sleeping."
"uh so either with lexy or i can give up my bed and i'll sleep with lexy if she's okay with that." says nick.
"yeah i'll sleep in your bed." says sam.
ouch.
nick takes off his shirt before getting in the bed. damn he has a hot body not gonna lie. i scoot over to more of the right side of the bed. the bed is only a full. so with him it was a little tight fitting.
