"sam, you can't keep showing up to my work." i explained for the hundredth time.

it was friday, and i can't be dealing with his shenanigans.

i have one more session to go through, and i am done. one day in peace, please?

"have you like slept with jack?" asked sam randomly as he went through my things.

"no. oh my gosh, get out! and stop touching everything."

"babygirl i was just wondering. no need to get shy."

"can you stop acting like this?"

"like what?"

"all cocky."

sam looked at me, and leaned in. he kissed me, and i didn't pull away.

he lifted me up and placed me on my desk and we made out.

"god i missed you." he exclaimed.

i gave in, "i missed you too."

"i knew you did. why didn't you just say it at the beginning?"

"you had a girlfriend. i didn't want to get hurt again."

"i didn't even like her. and i didn't choose to take away all my things and leave you. if i could have i would have stayed with you at the cabin. i wanted to be with you forever."

i smile and hug him tightly. what do i do with jack though? i led him on.

"i will pick you up tonight, dinner at 7."

"maybe." i bite my lip and look at him.

he chuckles and leaves my office.

i felt so happy, i had the same feeling i did when we first dated.

i dealt with my last clients, and packed up for the day. i decided i should text jack and tell him i think we should just be friends.

i texted him, and he seemed very understanding. he was a good one, very mature.

it was 5 when i got out of work today, so i only had a hour to get ready + the drive home.

when i arrived home, i got into the shower quickly. i wanted fresh hair. i did make up, and blowdried my hair.

i put on my dress, and felt amazing. *

i sat at my kitchen barstools, and browsed instagram.

i got a text from sam telling me he was here, so i went downstairs.

i got into his new porsche. it was pretty nice.

he drove to a restaurant i had never heard of, they had a valet, so it must be nice.

he held my hand as we walked in.

we sat down at our table, and browsed the small menu.

our server came over, and asked what drinks we wanted.

"anything to drink?" the male server said nicely.

i responded "a water, thank you."

he spaced out or something and stared at me. sam broke the silence.

"i'll have a dr. pepper."

then the server scurried off to get our drinks.

"why is it that every fucking time we go to eat together the server is in love with you. jesus fucking christ. i'm so annoyed." said sam.

"oh my god chill. they have liked you too."

"you more though. it's annoying as fuck. you are mine. i don't like people staring at what is mine."
