i woke up this morning energized. today i leave for camp. i made sure i had everything i needed in my suitcase, and that i did not forget anything. i rolled my suitcase down stairs and went back upstairs for my other bags.
my mom was in the kitchen making breakfast as my dad was sitting at the counter on his computer. i greeted them happily.
"goodmorningggg"
"wow lex i have not heard you so happy in the morning." said my mom.
" i second that." says my dad.
"c'mon guys, i'm going to be at a nice resort, or so called camp."
my mom laid the plate of crepes on the table and i started to assemble my crepe. i put a good amount of nutella and put some sliced strawberries on it.
we all ate and then my dad and i started loading my things into my moms range rover.

i sat in the back listening to music. the ride wasn't going to be too bad, it will only be a 4 hour drive.

we arrive and it is beautiful. it was the perfect touch of a real camp and a resort. trees covered most and then there were palm trees. we unload our my things and make our way to the front office to get my room key.
"hello! welcome to portbrook summer camp! can i have a name of our new camper?"
"lexy vanderwoodsen" i say.
"okay sweetie! you are in building 'G' in room 173. your room password is '5427'." the lady says with a smile.
i wonder who my roommates are. we approach room 173 and i enter the room password into the keypad on the door. i open the door and none of my roommates have came yet.
my parents and i unpack all of my things, and put my clothes in my designated dresser. i put some of my perfume bottles on top as well as some of my jewelry.
it had been a hour of setting up my room, so my parents and i decided to go tour the whole property. they had a huge fresh water lake, and a huge pool and hot tub. they had mini cafés and little shops, incase you needed necessities.
after touring we made it back to my dorm and still none of my roommates had arrived. i shrugged it off and said goodbye to my parents.

i am lying down on my bed eating a granola bar while watching netflix, as i hear someone open the door. the opening of the door is followed by teenage boys talking obnoxiously loud. i sit up, and peek my head to the side.
there were 3 good looking teenage boys in my room. this can't be real, if they are my roommates i might just die.
"yooo we have a girl as our roommate." one of the boys said.
i look up at them, and look back down at my show.
"so whats your name?" another boy asks.
"i'm lexy. and you guys are?"
"i'm nick."
"i'm carter."
"and i'm tanner."
i smile and say "nice to meet you guys." with a slight laugh.
the boys chuckle and start unpacking their bags.
i guess their parents didn't come in with them, i guess thats just boys.
"so lexy how old are you?" asks carter.
"how old do you think i am?" i said with a smirk. why not make this fun.
"16." said carter.
"nah, i'm 15 but close enough i guess."
"oh cool, we're 16, your a junior right?"
"no a sophomore."
"okay cool cool."

"yo lexy we're going to the café, wanna come with us?" says tanner.
"yeah hold on."
i got up from the bed and went to my dresser. i grabbed my socks and my vans and put them on.
"okay let's go." i said.
we walked out of our dorm and began on our way to the café. i walked in the middle of tanner and nick.
we arrived at the café, and a tall handsome guy approached us.
"what's up sam!!" says tanner.
"sup." says sam.
sam was beyond beautiful. he was very tall, muscular, and had a cute ass face. he was wearing some short shorts and a quicksilver shirt.
i mean, i looked very short compared to tanner, carter, and nick. but sam was even taller than them. must be like 6'3 gosh. the boys were about each 6ft.
"this is our roommate, lexy." nick says as he points to me.
sam looks down at me and we glance at each other. sam does a little low wave.
"ight cool." says sam. and his gaze is no longer at my eyes.
we enter the café, and i ordered a acai bowl. the boys i think got fruit bowls.
i look up at the door, and sam walks in. i was sitting at the end of the booth, and sam slides in next to me.
"lexy you are literally on me." says tanner.
"i'm sorry it's just-"
"actually i'm not complaining." tanner cuts me off with a smirk.
my cheeks heat up. uhhh what am i supposed to say.
to give sam enough room i had to have one of my legs on tanner.
sam and the boys were having some kind of conversation as i eat my bowl.
i didn't really mind, sitting on tanner. he was pretty dang cute.
"lexy you should come to the bonfire tonight." said nick.
"but i thought it was only for juniors." i said.
"oh true i guess never mind."
i sit there and open snapchat. tanner steals my phone from me and starts snapchatting random people.
"who is jason?" says tanner and send him a pic of his face.
"guys ima head out." says sam.
"byeeeee" say all the boys.
i move off of tanner and go back to my original spot.
carter says "is it just me guys or is sam acting different?"
"yeah i sensed that too."
now i am wondering who sam really was.
