IMAGINE Hogwarts [ENDED]

Cedric Diggory

You woke up in your dormitory remembering today was the day of the Yule ball. You got out of bed and headed for the bathroom to have a shower, once you were showered you got dressed into your hufflepuff uniform and sat in your common room. As you entered you saw your friends sitting near the fire, you walked over and sat in one of the arm chairs. "Good morning" they all said. "Good morning" you replied as you noticed Cedric walk in, you had a major crush on Cedric and whenever he walked past you went all shy. "Stop staring!" Jasmine said (jasmine is a made up character) "can't help it, he just catches my eye" you replied

"Oh please, someone give me a bucket so I can vomit!" Kath said who was your other best friend

"Shout a bit louder he might here you!" You said angrily "no need to be so rude!"

"Well there is no need for all the cheesy comments" Kath answered, you sat there humiliated as your friends laughed at you. "So Y/N who are you going with to the Yule ball?" Jasmine asked
"Ooo are you going with Cedric haha!" Kath added
"Shut up both of you!" You shouted, getting up and leaving the common room. As you left you could still here your friends laughing, you leaned back against the wall and slowly sat down in the corridor with your heads in your hands. "There meant to be my friends" you said to yourself.
You felt a tear run down your cheek as you replayed the situation in your head. You sat there for couple of minutes until you realised you had to go down to breakfast, you quickly got up and walked down to the great hall. On the way there you saw Draco walked by and tripped you up "stupid hufflepuff!" He said making his evil grin. You stood up and carried on walking like he wasn't there.

As you entered the great hall you saw Jasmine and Kath sitting at the hufflepuff table with the other hufflepuff's, you didn't want to sit with them so you sat with some other people in your house you knew. Once breakfast was served and everyone started eating, you had the yule ball playing on your mind. "Who am I going to go with to the Yule ball?" You thought whilst drinking your pumpkin juice. You ate your breakfast trying not to think about it when Cedric came and sat down near you with his friends, you looked up and had a warm feeling, just seeing his smile made your day. He noticed you weren't in a happy mood and asked if you were ok "are you alright Y/N? You don't seem quite yourself" you looked up into his eyes and felt like your sad mood was gone.
"Yeah I'm ok, just haven't had a good morning that's all" you replied feeling the shyness come over you.
"I heard what your friends said to you this morning, don't worry about it, I am quite nice to look at" he said smiling with pride.
You smiled back and felt yourself blush and got all embarrassed "good luck with the trip-wizard trials today" you replied trying to change the subject. "Thank you, hope to see you watching" Cedric said winking at you whilst eating his breakfast. You smiled and felt the happiest you have ever felt before, Cedric just winked at you!

Once classes were finished and the tri-wizard trial for the day has finished you went back to your common room to relax in front of the fire for a bit to read a book. As you were reading you noticed Cedric walk in, "well done on the trial today Cedric" you congratulated "thank you Y/N, it was quite a tough one" he replied sitting in one of the other arm chairs.
"What's that your reading?" Cedric asked
"Oh it's just an old book I used to read when I was younger" you replied, Cedric smiled at you and looked into your eyes.
"Say Y/N are you going with anyone to the ball this evening?"
"No why?" You replied
"Well, I haven't got anyone to go with either so would you like to go with me?" He asked smiling when he saw your face light up. You could not believe what he just said "Cedric just asked me to the Yule ball!" You thought to yourself with excitement. "Yes" you replied instantly with a huge smile on your face. "Settled then, I'll meet you down at the great hall before it starts" Cedric explained "ok, well I better start getting ready" you agreed.

You and Cedric then both headed to your dormitories to get ready, today was you day! You could finally show to your friends that Cedric did indeed like you back! You got to your room and showered, once you were freshened up you got your long silky golden dress out and out it on, you felt amazing. You then reached into your makeup bag and applied you lipstick, eyeliner and mascara. Once you were done with your make up you went placed your silver and ruby tiara in your hair, you felt like a goddess "let's hope Cedric approves" you said as you made your way to the great hall. You stood at the top of the stairs and noticed Cedric standing there looking like his handsome self. He noticed you and smiled, you started to make your way down the stairs and you saw Jasmine and Kath both looking at you with jealousy.

You made to the last couple steps and Cedric took your hand helping you down, "you look stunning" he complimented and smiled at you. You smiled back "you look handsome yourself" you replied and the both of entered the great hall. All the competitors got into their positions and once the music started playing they all danced with grace. You and Cedric swayed across the dance floor amazing everyone. Once the ball was over you and Cedric were on the balcony looking up at the stars "it was a great night" you said "thank you"

"Thank you, for coming with me as my date" Cedric replied giving you a hug. You felt warm inside as you hugged back "Y/N you truly are beautiful in that dress" he said
"Thank you" you replied blushing. You both looked into each other's eyes, Cedric then leaned closer towards you and kissed you, it made you feel so great as you kissed him back a shooting star went across the sky to finish the night.
