It was finally the weekend and after a long and tiring week you walked out the Hufflepuff common to the Great Hall. On your way there you heard your name being called "Amber!" You knew straight away who the voices belong to, you could recognise their voices from a mile away. You turned around to face none other than Fred and George Weasley.

"Hi guys, how are you?" you replied smiling.

"We're alright! Hows our dear friend Amber?" They asked in unison, you laughed at how they linked arms with you straight away and continued to walk to the Great Hall. "I'm feel great, how come you guys are so happy today?" You knew Fred and George were always happy, but today you knew something was up. Something not quite right. "Oh Amber, you will soon find out, just you wait!" Fred said and winked before walking over to the Gryffindor Table with George. Just you wait? You thought to yourself. What on earth were they talking about? You shrugged it off whilst sitting down the Hufflepuff table.

The sounds of laughter and conversation echoed the hall during breakfast as you poured yourself some pumpkin juice. You started eating your cereal when the owls started to fly in with the post. You rarely had post, it didn't bother you but when your owl started flying in with a parcel, many questions started flying around in your head. I have mail? Who could possibly send me mail? What is the package? Your questions were soon found out when your owl landed in front of you. You gave him a treat and watched him fly away. Your attention was then on the small box wrapped in brown paper with a note attached to it. You note read:

Amber,

Our best pal Amber, we thought we would send you a gift. Hope you like it!

You laughed as you read through it again, you looked up at the two twins and saw the mischievous grins painted on their faces. You shook your head whilst un wrapping the box. The box was brightly coloured and had 'Just a little surprise..' written on top. You thought twice about opening it, it was from Fred and George after all. What if it was a prank? You dismissed that idea as you knew they wouldn't do such a thing to you. Especially in front of everyone!

You gave them both another look and they just sat they grinning. You couldn't stand the anticipation any longer so you carefully opened the suspicious brightly coloured box.

SPLAT! you jumped up in fright as green goo sprayed up at your face. Laughters were heard from everyone in the hall hen they saw the mess you were in. Your thoughts were right all along, Fred and George did prank you. You were so humiliated! You were about to clean yourself up with a spell when your face started stinging. A rash started forming on your hands and face, the gooey substance was burning your skin. You let out a small muffled cry when the burning wouldn't stop. You then realised you were having an allergic reaction.

You face started swelling and people were laughing even harder at you. With tears streaming down your face you ran out the great hall washed with embarrassment. You cleaned up the goo with a spell and ran over to the hospital wing. You never had an allergic reaction before and frankly you were scared out of your wits! How can Fred and George do that to you? You knew it was only a joke but you were humiliated in front of everyone.

You ran into the hospital wing, in a waterfall of tears. Madame Pompfrey noticed you right away and guided you to an empty hospital bed. "Oh Merlins Beard! What happened my dear?" she asked taken back by your swelled up state. There was a few minutes silence as you calmed down "I had an allergic reaction" you replied in barely a whisper. You felt sleepy all of sudden as dizziness took over. You felt the room spinning Madame Pompfrey rushed over to get a potion. She returned and you drank what only could be described as troll pee. You wanted to spit it out but eventually swallowed.

You felt the burning cool after a few minutes as you laid there on the hospital bed, the swelling stopped and you were slowly retuning to your normal self. After spending the day there you were aloud back out again.

It's been a few days since the prank incident, all through out those days you've been teased about your allergic reaction. You've tried ignoring them all, but frankly you've had enough of it. After lessons finished on Friday you went down to the place where you can escape from everyone. You sat yourself down under a tree near the black lake. The cool breeze rippled the water and the quietness slowly made you forget about the harsh comments. You closed your eyes taking in the senses leaning your head against the tree trunk.

You were finally at bliss until you heard a stick snap suddenly. Your eyes darted open and you got up to look behind the tree. Only to see Fred with sympathy and guilt washed over his face. "Oh, it's only you" you said quietly sitting back down on the bank. Fred walked over to you and sat beside you. "I'd rather be alone at the moment"

"Look Amber, please listen to me" Fred pleaded, you turned to face him, his brown eyes looking directly into your dark blue ones "we are truly sorry, we didn't know you would have an allergic reaction, we didn't mean to make you cry. Amber please, we are truly sorry!"

You felt tears about to fall "you didn't even come visit me in hospital, to see if I was ok" you replied barely a whisper. "People have been teasing me about the prank ever since I was let out of the hospital wing! Calling me names, giving me looks of disgust! I feel terrible!" You added raising your voice. Fred only gave you a look of guilt, he let your words sink in and finally spoke "I know and I'm an idiot, me and George should have never have done that to you. Will you ever forgive me?" He asked.

You looked into his eyes and saw he was truly regretting the whole thing, now you felt bad for raising your voice at him. You let out a big sigh and tucked your sandy blonde hair behind your ear. "I would regret not forgiving you" you replied giving him a shy smile. He smiled back at you and hugged you, you hugged him back and felt butterflies swim around in your stomach. "I won't let that happen ever again, I promise" he said calmly bringing out from his embrace. Your smile grew and you felt yourself blush slightly "you better make sure it never happens again! I'll have to plan revenge now"

"Now, I don't think that's fair, I say we end pranks for a while, agreed?"

"Agreed" you replied laughing, Fred laughed with you. You didn't realise Fred move closer to you, you were only millimetres away. Your breath hitched as Fred closed the space between you with a soft gentle kiss.

A/N

I'm so so sorry for the long wait, I've been focussing on GCSE exams and last one is tomorrow. Woohoo!! That means a long summer filled with relaxation and fan fiction. Who says no to that? Not me! Anyway hope you enjoyed the chapter I enjoyed writing it. I let you guys know now, I'm going to start a book of my own, it isn't fan fiction based it is purely my own story. It's called the "The Shapeshifting Sorcerer: Betrayed" I'm going to be wrong it soon, just need to plan it some more. I would love you guys to check it out and give your opinion once the first chapter is up, I'll let you know when it's posted.
