IMAGINE Hogwarts [ENDED]

Harry x Reader

A/N: I'm very, very sorry for such a long wait for an update. I have been super busy as I have first year college exams coming up >_<  and I've been through quite a lot the past few weeks so I apologise for not updating. Anyway, positive note I'm writing and updating again so hopefully I will post more often. 

I didn't know what name to give the ex so I just went with Tom xD (it's not Tom Riddle) xD

"Hey Y/N!" a voice you recognised all too well called from down the hall. You turned around to come face to face with..your ex. 

You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, he didn't go to this school, he didn't go to hogwarts. Or did he? You certainly didn't see him back in first year at the sorting ceremony. "Hey" you said nervously "um not to sound rude, but what are you doing here? You don't go to this school.." 

"Oh didn't you hear? My parents transferred me here because they didn't like the way Durmstrang teaches anymore" 

You crossed your arms over your chest and furrowed your eyebrows, not sure whether to believe him or not. "Last time I heard, your parents were fairly confident in believing that Durmstrang was a better school than Hogwarts, Tom" 

Tom now had a creased brow "Well they changed their mind, anyway how about we catch up sometime hey? Like before" 

You had a feeling the new Ravenclaw student would drop that question on you, in the corner of your eye you saw Harry walking your way. You smiled at your boyfriend and said sweetly "Hey Harry" 

Tom's brow creased even more with confusion. 

"Hey love, who's this?" he asked his arm resting on your waist. 

"Oh, this is Tom, just moved here. He and I well, let's just say we were old friends" Harry's eyes shifted from you to the Ravenclaw in front of you "Tom, well you know who Harry is" 

A frown etched itself on his face "So you both are.." He said questionably pointing to you both. 

"Yes, yes we are" Harry answered "anyway we've got to be somewhere so I guess we will probably see you round" and like that Harry pulled you away and walked you down the hall. 

Tom stood there arms crossed sneered at your retreating backs.

For the next few weeks, Tom had been taking every opportunity to talk to you and be with you. Quite frankly it was starting to annoy you, why couldn't he see that you don't like him anymore? He broke up with you, why is he acting like this? Why is he even here when he went to Durmstrang? 

All these questions were bothering you and they were starting to distract you from your school work. Sitting in the library you sighed for what felt like the tenth time, the potions essay Slughorn set was going nowhere and you had only written four sentences. Four bloody sentences. Returning to the potions book in front of you, you re-read through the specific pages to try and inspire you. 

Only you couldn't do that because a hand was now resting on top of your leg, turning your head a grinning Tom was sat far too close to you. "You seem troubled Y/N, something on your mind" he said with a low voice. 

Shifting out of touch you said sharply "Yes something's on my mind, been on my mind ever since I saw you in the corridor the other day" 

Tom wolfish grin widened "I would stop grinning if I was you" You retorted, Tom's grin didn't fade. You frowned at him and stood up crossing your arms once more. "What are you doing? Why are trying to get back with me?" 

"Who said I was trying to get back with you?" He asked amused. 

"Oh come on it's obvious! The grinning, the winking, the always finding any way possible to talk to me. Tom I have a boyfriend" 

"Don't you think I'm aware of your boyfriend" he replied, his tone harsher when boyfriend was sounded. 

"No I don't think you are" You were getting extremely fed up, can't you study in peace without annoying ex's getting in your way? "Tom we broke up for a reason. Heck you're the own who broke up with me!" 

Tom stood up quickly and placed his hands either side of you on the desk behind, "Well I've realised now that it was a mistake, Y/N please" He started playing with your hair, but that wasn't going to change your mind. You pushed  his hand away and said quietly "Tom, I don't love you anymore. I've moved on, I'm with Harry now. Why can't you see that?" 

Tom just gazed at you, he didn't say a word a sorrow look in his eyes. 

"Hey Y/N, I've been looking for you..oh" Harry was standing right there eyes widened "oh right I didn't mean to interrupt anything, please by all means continue" 

"Harry wait, it's not what it looks like" You pushed Tom away a bit more forcefully than you expected and quickly backed up your books and parchment "Harry, wait please!"

You found Harry sitting in the Gryffindor common in front of the fire a distant look on his face. You walked over and sat down next to him. "Harry please listen to me, I don't love Tom anymore. I think his feelings for me come back and he can't realise the fact that I'm with you" 

Harry didn't say a word, only looking straight ahead. 

"Harry please look at me" You pleaded he turned to face his green eyes duller than usual. "Harry, I don't love him, I don't even like him anymore. He was one who broke up with me and I don't want to get back together with him"

"Then why were you with him, inches away from him might I add" he commented still avoiding I contact. 

"He came over to me and started irritating me and trying to flirt with me. I was trying to explain to him that I love you Harry. There's no one else I'd rather be with" Harry looked up at you then his green eyes brightening. "You love me?" he asked quietly a small smile appearing on his face. 

You nodded returning the smile "I love you, Harry" 

Harry didn't give you a chance to say anything else as his lips touched yours. It was a sweet kiss, a kiss you both needed. He could feel you smiling in the kiss making him smile "I love you" he murmured before continuing to kiss you. 

You were definitely weren't getting back together with Tom. 

A/N:  I know there was a bit of the request I missed out, but I thought I would end it as it seemed sweet and extremely cute. Hope you liked it, I liked writing it. Again, sorry for the long wait :)
