IMAGINE Hogwarts [ENDED]

Ron Weasley

It was a Friday morning and you were having breakfast at the Gryffindor table with Harry, Ron and Hermione. You have had a close relationship with the golden trio for quite some time now and you couldn't ask for better friends. But you were more close with Ron out of the three of them. "As it's Friday today, would you guys like to go to Hogsmeade tomorrow?" You asked.
"I'm studying tomorrow sorry" Hermione replied apologetically

"that's fine"

"Me and Harry are practicing for a quidditch match tomorrow sorry Y/N" Ron replied giving you an apologetic smile.

"It's fine, it's fine don't worry I'll just come watch you guys practice if I can"

"Yeah, that's alright, plus I can't go to Hogsmeade anyway. I don't have that stupid permission slip" Harry said laughing

"Oh yeah, forgot about that" you replied laughing along with all three of them. You continued eating your breakfast and walked out to go to your classes for the day.

*After Classes*

You walked into the great hall for dinner and sat next to Hermione opposite Ron and Harry. "Well ancient runes today was really interesting" Hermione said starting a conversation. "You always find ancient runes interesting Mione" Ron said grinning. Hermione then gave a sarcastic smile, whilst you were eating your dinner you couldn't help but notice lavender across the table looking over at Ron. "Who are looking at?" Hermione asked quietly, then you nodded to who you were looking at. Hermione noticed Lavender gazing over at Ron. "Well well Ronald, looks like you got yourself an admirer" Hermione said looking down. Ron looked confused until he noticed Lavender gazing, Harry laughed and punched his arm friendly. "Doubt it, probably just staring into space" he replied disagreeing with what Hermione just said.
"Pfft staring into space, Ron she's drooling over you!" Harry said laughing a bit too loud. "Guys quiet down, you don't want her to hear you do you" you said feeling annoyed for some reason. They stopped laughing and finished their dinner.

The four of you then walked up to Gryffindor common room. You entered and sat down by the fire for a while, after a couple of hours you all walked up to your dormitories to sleep until the morning.

*Next Morning*

You woke up knowing today's the day Gryffindor are practicing for their next quidditch match. You quickly got out of bed and showered, you put your uniform on and headed straight for the great hall. As you were walking down you bumped into someone and fell, "I'm sorry" you said once you stood up, you noticed it was Lavender "oh, hi Lavender"
" oh your Y/N, your friends with Harry, Hermione and....Ron aren't you"

"Yes"

"Well just...nevermind" and with that she walked off to the great hall.
"What's her problem?" You thought as you reached the ancient doors to the great hall. You walked in and saw Harry and Ron sitting eating their breakfast. You walked over and sat down next to Ron. "Where's Hermione?" You asked as she wasn't sat with them. "Where do think?" Ron replied
"Oh right yeah, library" you said smiling. "So you guys excited for quidditch practice?"
"Yes defiantly! Can't wait to go back on the quidditch pitch" Harry replied gleaming with excitement, Ron smiled with agreement.

"Lucky Gryffindor got the pitch to practice before Slytherin" you stated whilst eating some cereal.

"Yeah defiantly, that ferret has had more than enough practice for his quidditch team!" Ron said whilst Harry and yourself agreed. After breakfast you Harry and Ron headed outside for the quidditch arena for practise. You took your seat in the stands and watched the quidditch players practise what they do best. Ron put himself forward for keeper and you hoped for the best that he passed. Just before the practise match started hermione arrived and sat next to you "managed to get all the studying done?" You asked as she sat down " yes I did, thought I would come down here to watch our Gryffindor players practise and cheer on for Ron, as I heard he's in for keeper" Hermione replied "yes, he is. I hope he does well" you said smiling, Hermione smiled back and you both watched the match.

As the match went on, you and Hermione cheered Ron on, although you could hear Hermione say a charm under her breath. You thought nothing of it and carried on cheering. You noticed at the corner of your eye that Lavender was cheering for him as well, you looked at her in disgust and turned back to face the pitch.
When the match ended you all headed back to Gryffindor common room to celebrate as Ron passed as keeper. You were all chanting "Weasley! Weasley!" as he was standing on the podium. Then all of a sudden Lavender came out from the crowds at started snogging Ron. You felt yourself crumble, you knew you had feelings for him but you didn't know they were strong. You heart broke as you saw him with her, you stood there as a tear rolled down your cheek. You then walked away to the girls dormitories to go bed as you didn't want to be with anyone, especially him.

*Next morning*

You headed down to the great hall still thinking of the night before, your heart sank every time you pictured Ron with Lavender. You guessed they were now going out as they practically made it clear to every one, well lavender did. You walked over to the Gryffindor table and saw Harry sitting with Ron and Hermione. You walked over only to notice Lavender sitting next to Ron with her arms round him. You sat down not looking at anyone and started to eat your breakfast. "You alright Y/N" Harry asked when he saw the look on your face
"Fine" you replied quickly as soon as he finished his sentence. You saw Hermione not feeling great herself, you were going to ask but she suddenly got up and left the hall. It confused you why she was upset, but you shrugged it off. "Are you sure your alright Y/N, you don't look it" Ron asked whilst attached to Lavender. You looked at him with a hurt expression, got up then looked at Lavender with jealousy all over your face. You the walked away having only eaten half your breakfast and leaving the three of them confused.

As days past jealousy kept building up and up. Everyday you saw them kiss, hug and laugh with each other. You hated it. It broke your heart. Until the week after the match you walked in and said to yourself "just going to ignore them." You entered and sat down next to Harry who was opposite Ron, Hermione wasn't there and you didn't see much of her through out the week. You noticed she was down but couldn't figure out why. Of course Lavender was next to Ron, you ignored. "Morning" Harry said feeling cheerful,
"Morning" you sighed as you grabbed some toast and buttered it.
"Won won, it's our week anniversary! We should head down to Hogsmeade to celebrate!" Lavender said in her annoying soppy voice. Ron didn't answer and just smiled at her, you looked at them with hatred as the jealousy kept building. Ron noticed your expression "what's wrong with you Y/N? Why do you keep looking at us like that? Are you jealous or something?" Ron asked feeling angered, you wanted to ignore but this time it felt impossible. You felt yourself shaking in anger as he spoke, you looked at him and replied "why can't you understand?!" You shouted with tears now rolling down your face. A few people turned round to see what was going on "understand what? You're jealousy? Or how rude your being?" He shouted with face turning red. Your anger was at its highest point "understand that whenever I see you with her!" You bellowed looking at Lavender "that my heart breaks because, because Ron" you were at the point of sorming out as you soon realised you were standing up giving the hole hall an argument to see "because what?" He shouted again glaring at you. "Because" you said ever so quietly because you felt your voice about to break "because Ron, I love you." You then ran out the hall with tears streaming down your face when you saw Ron's expression to your answer. Guilt.
