IMAGINE Hogwarts [ENDED]

Cedric Diggory

You woke up from your peaceful slumber feeling excited, as tomorrow was your birthday. You were especially happy as this year you could celebrate your birthday with the one you truly love, Cedric Diggory, you and Cedric have been dating for a couple weeks now and your relationship was nothing compared to previous ones you've had. You truly felt he was the one. After being caught up in your thoughts you slowly got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom to have a cleansing shower. Once you showered you walked back towards your bed and grabbed your uniform.

When you were finally ready, you headed down to great hall to have breakfast with your friends. You were walking down thinking of what Cedric might give you for your birthday, will he give you a necklace, bracelet or something even more valuable? Or will it be a surprise? You got more and more excited as you kept thinking about it. You reached the great hall and walked in and sat at the Gryffindor table with your friends, as you sat down, you saw Cedric across the hall giving you smile. You smiled back and then started talking with your friends, the conversation was mostly about your birthday and what to get you. As you were talking you felt a tug on robe, it was a miniature paper cat. You picked it up and noticed it was a letter, you looked round to see who it might have been from and noticed Cedric's grin he then mouthed "open it and read it!" With that you read the small note he gave you,

Y/N tomorrow as its your birthday, I've got a special surprise for you. I know you will like it as you keep asking me for a...well better not say as I will give it away. See you after breakfast,

A smile appeared on your face as you were reading, Cedric was planning a surprise for you, you felt like the luckiest girl ever. You now couldn't wait for your birthday to arrive!

Once you finished eating your breakfast you got up from the table and walked towards the doors of the great hall to wait for Cedric. Once he was finished he saw you near the doors and walked up to you, he instantly gave you a tight hug which made you feel the happiest you have ever been. "Good morning sweetheart, saw you got my note" he said with his calming voice.
"Good morning, yes I did and it's making me even more excited for tomorrow" you replied squealing a little, Cedric laughed at your excitement and walked with you hand in hand out of the great hall, "you should be excited, it's from me of course" Cedric said feeling a little big headed. You laughed and wrapped your arm around his as you walked to your first lesson.

*after lessons, dinner starting at the great hall*

After lessons you headed down from your house common room for dinner at the great hall. Cedric waited outside the Gryffindor common room for you so you could walk down together, on the way there you both were discussing about your birthday tomorrow. "So does the surprise have anything to do with a party?" You asked as your excitement took over,
"No, I'm not telling you otherwise it won't be a surprise now would it?" Cedric replied smiling. "Well, is it a gift, or a date or a-" you trying to guess but Cedric interrupted you and stopped to face you "Y/N I'm not going to tell you what it is, it's a surprise and I want it to be a surprise so it's special for you" he said as he stopped you from walking and looked down into your eyes. You can tell the seriousness in his voice and stopped "sorry ok, the excitement just took over me for second then" you replied
"No need to apologise, I can totally understand. I would be excited if it were my birthday in few hours" Cedric said with a big grin on his face. You smiled back and looked up into his eyes. It felt like forever standing there, Cedric then came closer and tucked your hair behind you ear. He then closed his eyes and was leaning closer, you stopped him "not now Cedric, save it for tomorrow, it will make it even more special" you said laughing, he laughed with you as you both entered the great hall for your dinner.

*next day*

It finally your birthday, you jumped out of bed and quickly got ready as the excitement exploded from you. You changed into your robes and ran down into your common room, you then heard a very loud "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" from all the Gryffindor's. You screamed with joy and sat down with everyone to open your first few presents. Your presents from your friends were mainly sweets like burty bots every flavour beans and chocolate frogs, which you didn't mind as you loved chocolate and sweets. You also got a couple of bracelets and accessories along with the other gifts, once you finished opening your gifts you opened your common room door to go down to the great hall to find Cedric standing there with massive smile on his face. He picked you up and span you round, "Happy Birthday Y/N!" You giggled and thanked him. You were about to walk down to the great hall with Cedric but he stopped you, you looked at him with confusion as he was reaching for something in his pocket "here is your first gift" he said calmly as he gave you a small white box. You smiled with glee and opened it to find and sliver necklace with a heart charm on it. "Thank you so much Cedric!" You said as tears began to fill your eyes, he wiped your tears away with his thumb and attached the necklace round your neck. "No need to cry, it's your birthday!" He said making you laugh "now come on let's go down to breakfast"

You and Cedric then walked arm in arm to the great hall for your breakfast, for change you sat on his table to get to know his Hufflepuff friends a bit more. After breakfast you and Cedric then exited the great hall. Your conversations at breakfast were about your birthday and people wishing you happy birthday. Once you and Cedric were outside the great hall doors turned you round to face him "Now Y/N, I want you to close your eyes, you open them only when I say so ok" he whispered quietly,
"But where are we going" Cedric then put his finger on your lips to stop you from talking "it's a surprise" he replied taking your hand and guiding to the place where he was keeping secret. You then closed your eyes and kept a tight hold onto his hand so you wouldn't fall, minutes later you stopped and felt cold. You guessed you were now outside as you felt a cold breeze against your face.

"Watch your step" Cedric said keeping an I on you as you entered where your surprise was taking place. "Open your eyes" he whispered in your ear. You opened your eyes to find yourself standing in the middle of the quidditch pitch. You could see the massive stands where you would sit to watch, the field was bigger from here then looking at it above, you looked around in awe. "Wow!" You said in amazement "the quidditch arena looks different from down here." Cedric smiled at your lit up face
"I'm going to teach you to fly and play quidditch as you aways ask me" he smiled. You ran into him hugging him "thank you so so much Cedric, you are the best" you said as hugged you back. He let you go and passed you a broom. "Now, shall we get started" he winked as he took off from the ground and started hovering above "shout up, then take off" he explained as your broom flew into your grasp. You then took off, you and Cedric flew round the arena. It was truly the best surprise you have ever had.

After a couple of hours Cedric and yourself returned to the ground and exited the arena, you then walked outside for a bit and sat on a bench near the black lake. "Thank you Cedric, couldn't ask for a better surprise" you said looking into his mystic grey eyes. "No need to thank me" he replied. Cedric then placed his hand on your cheek and kissed you, you kissed back and smiled. He smiled back and put his arm around you. "You are truly special Y/N" he said looking out to the lake, "You are my everything" you replied also looking out to the lake and rested your head on his shoulder.
