Anakin's POV

Out of all the planets we had been to in these past three months, Felucia was definitely up there in the most beautiful.

Colourful spike, spore and enormous pitcher plants dotted the battlefield. The sun came out every so often, causing the already beautiful environment to glitter like shards of broken multicoloured glass.

The only not-so-peaceful aspect to this planet now was the hundreds of bodies that littered the dirt floor.

We had been deployed out on Felucia for a week now but if my counting was correct, I had been away from (y/n) 91 days. Exactly three months. I would be home any day now, just after we wiped out this last batch of empire soldiers on their way to attack us.

God I missed her so much.

I hadn't even had time to talk to her via hologram, call her over the comms or even message her over datapad, Palpatine and his troops had made sure of that.

And let me tell you, three months had never felt so long. It turned out, it wasn't the not seeing her that got to me the most, it was the seeing her, in my thoughts and dreams. Images of her happy, smiling, laughing but also sometimes visions of her in pain, crying, hurting.

And as our time apart lengthened, these visions only got more vivid, more dark, more terrifying.

And it was now, when I held my saber against one of the enemies throats that my worst fear started piecing itself together.

He grunted, squirming under my grasp as the plasma blade roared and crackled at his oesophagus and just before I went to slice his head from his shoulders, he uttered one word her name. I froze, like a stunned animal.

"You might want to get back to your wife" he spluttered.

"what did you say?" I seethed back.

"Heard Palpatine's got big plans for her...and the child" he uttered like it was nothing.

My heart sped up in my chest and my breathing grew erratic and uneasy as I glared down at the withering soldier who grinned back up at me with a bloody, toothy smile.

"What plans? tell me. Now."

"Oh. Well, I'm not sure of the details but...my wouldn't it be ashame if someone were to kidnap her from your pristine Jedi temple and take her to a secret location where no one could ever find her, where she would then live out the rest of her miserable life and the child be raised as a descendant of the empire"

"You're lying" I fumed, forcing the saber closer so that it almost dug into his skin.

"Maybe" he coughed.

I relaxed only slightly, giving my eyes a break from staring into his soul as I looked over at Ahsoka and Obi-Wan who were occupied on the other side of the clearing, taking out droidekas.

"Maybe not"

(y/n)'s POV

"STOP. STOP! YOU'RE KILLING ME!" I wheezed, panting and holding my stomach in agony.

Tears brimmed at my eyes, blurring my vision as our hysterical fits of laughter seemed never ending.

"And then he actually sat in the bantha shit!" Zac added, shaking his head as he recalled memories from a simpler time.
