As I entered the planet of city lights a voice came through the ships commlink
"this ship is identified as belonging to the late count Dooku, please state your name and purpose here or we will open fire" it was Australian accent of a clone trooper.
I pressed a button to respond but quickly realised I had no idea what to say "umm...my name is (y/n) (y/l/n)...I...I don't want any trouble...I just need to speak to a Jedi...or anyone I don't know...umm"
"the old not looking for trouble trick, yeah heard that before" then the voice muffled but carried on speaking to someone else "attack positions boys, fire on my command"
"NO, no please! just let me land I'll walk out unarmed and you can arrest me right there and then. just don't shoot...please"
a sigh came from the other end of the line, and hesitated "you are cleared to landing pad A-23, if you don't land your ship there and surrender yourself to us in the next 20 seconds we will open fire"
then the commlink went static as they cut off. Landing quickly at my designated landing pad, I then slowly edged down the ships lowering ramp, with my hands in the air.
I didn't know exactly how many but somewhat over 20 clone troopers stood before me, blasters raised.
One, the commander I assume, stepped forward towards me and came behind me to cuff my hands together but before he could I subtly waved my hand across his face and calmly whispered in his ear "you will take me to the Jedi council, now. tell your men to stand down, you've got this"
he looked back at his troops and repeated "stand down men, I've got this. back to your stations" he marched beside me, leading me to the Jedi I assumed.
winding through many hallways and up several staircases, we passed the occasional trooper or protocol droid but no sign of any Jedi.
suddenly we stopped at a pair of large grand doors, "here we are" then with great force he shoved me inside.
regaining my balance and posture I looked back at the doors which were slammed shut. now I realised I wasn't alone.
In fact the whole Jedi council were sat in there designated seats, with utter confusion and shock swept over their faces.
"what in the name of the force, are you doing here" Mace Windu called from the edge of his seat, beside him was the great Jedi master Yoda. Mace however, was the only familiar face in this council, the rest I'd only heard about from old stories my parents would tell me.
Anakin and obi-wan weren't here.
remembering that I'd been asked a question and all these eyes were waiting for me to answer, I opened my mouth
"oh, I...I don't really know why I'm here if I'm honest" I looked down to the floor in thought of what to say next "something inside just told me this was where I needed to be. something pulling me to the Jedi."
"conflicted, you are feeling?" the small green creature asked, pointing at me.
"y-yes"
"hmm" he leaned back in his chair and just stared into my eyes for a good few seconds or so
"pain in your eyes, i see. confusion, hope" he stroked his chin "a Jedi, you wish to become, yes?"
I scoffed, embarrassed at this wild claim "well, I...wouldn't say that" I shook my head nervously laughing and averting my gaze back to the floor.
"powerful you are, a good Jedi you would be. but too old"
i never said anything about becoming a jedi? i muttered in my head
"said anything you did not, but feel this you do" my head snapped back up at Yoda. as much as I wanted to deny it and run back to the easy life of the Sith, he was right.
I wanted to be a Jedi
"loud, your thoughts are" he said chuckling.
Mace Windu leaned over to Yoda and whispered something to him, whilst keeping his eyes on me.
"hmm, right you are" Yoda replied to him.
Mace slowly stood up and looked around at the council "my fellow masters, how do we all feel on this matter" he opened the floor to rest of the members
"the matter being?" Agen Kolar questioned
"should (y/n) (y/l/n) be trained as a jedi?"
the room fell silent as everyone composed their arguments for a second
Ki-Adi-Mundi was the first to speak "shes already highly skilled, so not much trainging would be needed in that department"
Shaak Ti came with a counter argument "we don't know her real purpose here. is she not controlling the entire droid army? this could be a trap"
i butted in at this "if it helps, i gave one of the droids full command so no"
she raised her brow at this.
"a lot of mental training she would need though, to control her anger after the dooku incident" another spoke up
Kit fisto interrupted "are we serisously considering this? shes a sith!"
"for years an eye we have kept on (y/n) and considering the circumstances of how she got dragged into the world of the Sith, evil she is not. and completely unarmed. to me, her intentions are clear" yoda stated
"if we don't help her, she will fall back into enemy hands. so i guess the question is. would we rather young (y/l/n) as an enemy, or an ally?"
I was slightly bothered at how comfortable they were talking about me, deciding my entire future but I guess that's just what Jedi do.
"(y/n), leave the room for a moment. don't go anywhere" mace Windu instructed I nodded and followed his orders, still don't think I would ever get used to that.
around ten minutes passed as I leaned against the doors trying to listen in on the arguments taking place back inside that room.
I heard footsteps getting closer and closer until the door suddenly flew open and i came tumbling to the ground. the Jedi stared down at me but i quickly picked myself up and turned to Yoda and mace in anticipation of their next words.
"trained you will be
under the supervision of Anakin Skywalker
if work hard and want this you really do
then a jedi, you will become"
