Again, Rosaji, thank you! I wont get tired of saying thanks.
Not just to you but to everyone who reads, follows and favorited this fic. And to hell for those who didnt even get pass the first two chapters and called it boring. I should not waste my time on them either but I still do bcoz I feel its unfair to give such review when he/she didnt even give the fic the benefit of the doubt. And its not like I didnt give a fair warning at the first chapter that it would be just a short drabble on how they (S & R) met.
I would also like to apologize. I know that unlike other writers here, I dont really get to interact with you guys. I also dont get to respond to each and every review you give me despite me asking you to leave one. Its unfair right? And so I am sorry. But i am forever endebted for your support. Thank you!
Anyhow, enough of the sentiments.

This has become a routine. And it's starting to piss him off, dearly.
He'd come home to a sleeping Rin. To an empty hallway. To a silent corridor. To a dark house. And to a note on the fridge telling him to just heat the food on the microwave.
It's his fault on the most part. Lately he's been coming home really late in the evenings or very early in the mornings. And he couldnt blame her for going to bed. He wouldnt appreciate her waiting for him until the crack of dawn either. That would be selfish.
But he just missed her wide warm smiles and 'welcome back' greetings so much that he's going sultry.
He silently washed and changed clothes, careful not to wake her. When he got out of the bath, her sleeping form greeted him. Her features where highlighted by the moonlight coming from the open window. Shadows danced around her body as the curtains flapped with the soft wind coming in.
He stepped closer at the foot of the bed as he dried his hair with a towel. When was the last time he looked at her just for the sake of looking? He's always in a hurry that it seemed months since they last seen each other eye to eye.
Besides, she too seemed pretty occupied with work. She always seem tired too. That even their car rides are spent in more silence with a yawn or two every now and then.
When he finished, he set the towel aside and joined her in bed. He carressed her cheek and kissed her. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close to his body. And she cuddled closer to his warmth, eyes closed, still asleep. How he missed this.
Just a few more days. He just had to endure for a few more days.
.
There were days that he couldn't drop her to school or the orphanage or even just send her off. At times she'd insist on him not to. But today he made sure to able to spare some time. And that made this even more painful. Her guilt is tearing her up inside.
"Drive carefully." She told him as he pecked her on the cheeks. They were parked a meter or two at the school entrance.
"I will."
She smiled knowing he'd do just that. Rin smiled as best she could but knew he'd notice it didnt reach her eyes.
"See you later, tiny." And he drove off to work.
When Sesshomaru's car was out of sight, Rin crossed the street opposite the school yard heading on the other direction and hailed a cab.
.
The clock read half past nine. The front door opened. He already had his head raised from his laptop when he heared the knob rattled.
"Im home." Rin's voice as she entered the living room.
