Yeah what's up homies! Ahahaha. This little drabble before i start with the chapter is just to inform you guys that I'll try to update on a regular schedule. Every week at friday evenings. Its my day off. I've finished my contract in the hospital where I worked at back in the Philippines. If none of you had notice my change in location on my profile, I'm actually in KSA now, working here for almost 3months as a nurse. Go for greener pasteurs they say, i had to grab the opportunity (of sorts). Anyways, I know my career advancement doesnt really interest you and so lets get on with it!

P.S leave some criticisms and reviews or I'll go on strike, go to the mountains or the desert for that matter, where there is no internet connection and be a hermit or a nomad forever. (I am serious) Toodles!

The inevitable has come. Rin had to drag her feet to her room and head to her closet . There lay the box Kagura gave her. She took off the top and there staring back at her was the pretty little number, taunting her.

Its now only two days before Kagura's wedding. She could feel butterflies in her stomach. And not the good kind.

She couldnt help but feel its like highschool prom all over again. Where you get all excited but at the same time dread the said day. You go through leaps and bounds to look pretty and attractive only to arrive at the party unnoticed because some it-girl or the resident queen bee shoot your efforts down just like that.

But she has no right to voice out qualms. This is not about her. This is Kagura's special day and it's only natural that the bride would want things to go perfectly as well. But Rin still thinks, Kagura had over-estimated her beauty. That is if she has even some degree of said beauty.

Yes, yes, Rin has confidence issues. And it didnt help that Sesshomaru chose the dress for her. If anything, it only added to her anxiety. What if it didn't look good on her? Urgh!

But it's not like she has a choice either. By hook or by crook she has to attend. Besides, didnt she decide to be by Sesshomaru's side already?

She laid the dress carefully onto the bed. She pulled the drawer on her vanity and pulled out some dainty little boxes. She's never one to wear make-up. A tinge of lipstick and face powder always does the trick for her. Besides she's a preschool teacher. Nothing to really dress up for when you had to wrestle with kids everyday.

She has everything she needs to doll up, except for shoes. Now where did she place those killer heels Kagome brought her again?

She went on her knees and bent over to search under her bed.

Rin rummaged shoe box over shoe boxes. But the only one that matched the dress was the one she hated wearing the most. She fondly called it "the killer heels". She had always loved wearing flats but Kagome insisted she kept something fad and sexy in her artillery for times such as this. Do I really have to wear this? As much as she dreads it, she also doesnt want to be a fashion disaster.

So killer heels it is!

She advertently kept the dress on her room so she didnt have to worry on Sesshomaru walking in on her. And today he was sure to be busy too so he wont be home until later.

She was about to zip her back when the door knob rattled.

"Rin?" Sesshomaru's voice cut through her thoughts. He was expecting her at the kitchen or in his room, so when she wasnt, he got worried.

She snapped back to look at the wall clock. He's home early!

She was so surprised that she panickedly got off the dress and into her clothes and in her clumsy attempt almost tripped on herself. She still had the shoes on! Her flailing arms caught the bedside table knocking its contents to fall over under the bed.

"Stupid shoes!" She hurried to pick and place them back at the table.

Hearing the noise, Sesshomaru''s voice grew stern. "Rin, open the door."

"Sorry for the noise. I'm fine!" She replaced the dress back on the box. "Coming!" She hurried out the door.

"You okay?" Sesshomaru placed a hand on her forehead. "What were you doing?"

"I'm good." She beamed. "A little bit of cleaning up. You're home early. Did something happen?" She changed topic.

She closed the door behind her as she listened to Sesshomaru talk about his day.

And there lay on the floor, the note bearing Hakurei's handwriting, unseen and forgotten.

Call me on this number xxx-xxx-xxx

We need to talk.

You know where to find me.

Hakurei

Rin stood in front of the mirror bewildered. Was that really her?

The strict diet she followed paid off if she may say so herself. But she missed her burgers and doughnuts terribly. Once this wedding's over, she'd definitely treat herself a buffet.

"Rin, you done?" Sesshomaru called from the living room.

But it's not over yet...

Well, here goes nothing!

When she walked out if the room, she found Sesshomaru standing near the couch, his back to her.

"So?" She voiced to catch his attention. She stood on one leg and had her arms raised on both sides in a questioning manner. It took all ounce of what little confidence she had to act nonchalant.

She looked everywhere but him. But his silence unnerved her.

Didn't he like it? She felt her walls crumble. She knew it yet still kept her hopes up.

No compliments? No criticism? This is the worst!

"You're breathtakingly beautiful." And the way he said it was so sincere that she couldnt help but feel she really is.

She was so absorbed in her insecurities that she didnt notice him approach her. He held her with such ease in an embrace. His hand on the small of her back. She felt her spine tingle when he soothingly made circles on her skin.

And he kissed her. Lovingly so. Nothing rushed. Nothing carnal. But the gesture was so sweet and was twice as intimate that she went weak on the knees.

The moment was just so perfect that she couldnt help but blush a healthy pink.

Sesshomaru cant seem to stop too. He just cant get enough of her. He continued to kiss her after a short pause for air.

"W-wait Sess-shomaru, s-top. The wedding..." As much as she love the attention, they were running late. We wont make it if we keep this up.

"Its ok. We're not important guests. They wont even miss us."

"You're the one who said to hurry." She reasoned. "Besides, Kagura would hate you if you missed her wedding."

"Nope. She'd hate you for making me miss it."

"Ba-baka! Dont turn this on me now-." He didnt let her finish. He kissed her again.

Rin was going to say something again when she noticed how deadly serious he looked.

"What are you scowling at?"

"Nothing. I just realized, other men would be looking at you too."

"I could always arrange for a private viewing." And she blushed a deep red when she realized what she just said. She always felt the need to tell him she was his. Because as selfish as it sounds he was hers to, right? "Well, t-that is if you w-want me to."

"Definitely." He said without second thoughts. And he leaned down to whisper in her ear, " I'll wait. But I want you tonight. And I'm not holding back."

His words held promise and threat that it made her anxious, in a good way.

"O-ok." She answered flustered.

He finally took her hand and led her out to the door. "Let's go before I change my mind."
