I want to start off by thanking you all SO MUCH for all the support I've received throughout writing Immobulus !! It's so bittersweet to think that it's finally finished and I couldn't be happier- and while I will eventually be going back and thoroughly editing Immobulus, now I'd love to point you all in the direction of its prequel that I'm working on titled Bluebird, as it follows the story of Sirius and Carina's mum Pandora <3 I've included the prologue here to give you all a sneak peek if you choose to read it !! (Which I hope some of you will <3)

PANDORA MINETTE SELWYN wasn't sure when she had first met Sirius Orion Black. She just always remembered him being around.

He was the family disappointment her parents would tell her- though he wasn't actually family, because he dared to be different. In a way she could relate to him- though she was no Gryffindor.

She knew what it was like to grow up the way he did. To have certain things expected of you and decided for you even if you really didn't want them at all. That was the way of doing things in their world- for people of their status.

He didn't care. He lived for mischief and everything his parents hated- and it seemed exhilarating. It both fascinated and terrified quiet and polite Pandora.

The only rebellious scrap in her meek and mild body lay in the pale patches that danced across her skin- and the strikingly white streak of hair across her temple.

Vitiligo it was called- she never minded it, nor did anyone else really. Her cousin Andy always told her how uniquely beautiful it made her, like a piece of art in one of the French museums their parents would take them on holiday to in the summertime.

But not her parents.

Pity was how her mother looked at her. Her poor afflicted daughter, how would she be married off to a respectable family?

Her father was a nasty man. She had a feeling he didn't care for her much, her brother was the son- the Selwyn heir, and her sister the beautiful prized pony raised to be married off. Compared to them she was nothing more than a failed transaction.

Until he awoke the fire within her and made her feel alive.
