The smell of beef and smoke paprika mingled with the ocean breeze.

Gulf recounted the proposal to Avia, his brothers, Bright, Win, Max, Tul, Tae, Tee and Thanit while Mew worked the grill.

"Wait a minute. How come there was the greenhouse?" Gulf wondered out loud.

"Because I built it." Mew kissed Gulf's hair before sitting beside him with a plate of beef and mushrooms.

"You built it?!" Gulf gaped.

"Well not literally." Mew fed a piece of mushroom to Gulf.

Gulf closed his mouth and slowly chewed, still looking at Mew questioningly.

"I wanted to propose to you at the place you are most happy. Which is the wolf sanctuary you volunteer at. So I called Seo Joon to find out where it is and contacted them.

I wanted to grow something that encapsulates my promise to you. Which made me think of sunflowers.

I asked Andrew if they could build the greenhouse. They would also be able to use the greenhouse to grow vegetables etc, making it fair since both parties use it. I would provide the funding and they would provide the labour.

Sunflowers take around 70 to 100 days to grow. So if we ever visited in the future it would have grown fully. But I didn't expect Gulf to bring me there so early into our relationship." Mew chuckled.

"Though it meant that Gulf loves me so much that he wanted to share his happiness with me." Mew pecked Gulf's forehead, Gulf blushing.

Cutting the beef into small pieces, he transferred it to Gulf's plate.

"Wait...70 to 100 days?! Since it grew fully by the time you reached there, that means you planned to propose to Gulf early on! When did you decide that Gulf is the one?" Bright asked.

"When Gulf ran to the park and I chased after him. I was assuring him that he will never lose me and that I will always be there for him. I gave the reason that it is because 'I can't imagine not being by your side'.

That was when it hit me that I had already perceived Gulf as my future.

So, on the same day, I called Seo Joon, asked for his permission and the rest happened."

"You got guts. Respect." Jaebeom applauded, fist bumping Mew.

"Mew deserves even more respect. Seo Joon's requirement for Gulf's dowry is no joke." Lin Yi added on, his mouth full of spaghetti.

"How much?" Jingyu asked.

Lin Yi showed two fingers.

"2 million?" Thanit guessed, Lin Yi shaking his head.

"20 million?" Tul guessed, Lin Yi still shaking his head.

Sipping his wine, Lin Yi pointed up a few times.

(A/N: I would have just stuck to 20 million since in real life it is 20 mln but this fanfiction Mew signs contracts worth billions of dollars. Of course his Gulf is worth more than that.)

"200 million?" Tom guessed, Lin Yi still shaking his head.

Weizhou gulped.

"2 billion?"

Lin Yi nodded, clapping for Weizhou getting the correct answer.

"2 billion?!" All the people at the table were shocked. Only Mew, Seo Joon and Lin Yi were unfazed.

"Bie, Mew's lawyer, was about to have a heart attack. He thought that Mew was buying over a company again and had to deal with another lawsuit." Bright laughed.

"Well he better be prepared. I bet Mew is going to spend a fortune for their wedding." Win chimed in.

"And children if they have any in the future." Jackson wiggled his eyebrows.

Heat crawled up Gulf's cheeks.

He could only pout and hide behind Mew while everyone else joined in the teasing.

After the barbeque, some retired for the night, some sat on the porch and drank beer while others walked along the beach.

Mew and Gulf chose the latter, strolling along the shoreline.

Gulf stepped into the ocean, kicking up the water playfully.

Scurrying back to Mew, he pecked Mew's lips.

"I am just too happy." Gulf giggled.

"I can't believe we have the chance to spend our future together."

Mew hefted Gulf in his arms, Gulf wrapping his arms around Mew's neck and legs around Mew's waist.

"Better believe it babe." Mew nuzzled his nose against Gulf's, causing Gulf to giggle even more.

They shared a sweet kiss under the rays of the setting sun, the idea of spending their future together making them feel complete.
