Since Ivy found out about Lucas being a werewolf, she had been spending more time hanging out with him. A few hufflepuffs teased them about being a couple, while a few slytherins called out to Ivy that she had found a "companion Hufflepuff" This didn't bother Ivy at all, and anyways, She was glad to make friends outside of the temper-mental Gryfindors.

November went by without any more sources of excitement. Ivy received a letter from the Weaslys that she would leave kings cross with them until her guardian got back from his trip.

Ivy was excited to see the Weaslys. Since she found out she was related to them, even if distantly, she felt closer to them. When December rolled around, Ivy exchanged gifts with Marie and Dennis, and stood by Harry and Hermione while Ron gave a very...nonverbal good bye to his new girlfriend, Lavender Brown. Ivy didn't like Lavender, she was a giggly Gryfiffindor in Harry's year who was know to gossip a lot. Ivy rolled her eyes and smirked at Hermione, who looked thoroughly annoyed with Ron's behavior. "See you after holiday won won" Lavender said when she and Ron finally untangled each other. Ivy worked hard to suppress a giggle.

"Thank you for the books Harry." Ivy said to him when they got inside the moldy carriage that was pulled by thestrals. He nodded and then asked, "has Moony been writing to you?" Ivy shook her head. "Hasn't been able to. He's doing something really secret for the order." Harry nodded and looked at Ron and Hermione, who were sitting across from Ivy and Harry. They both had their arms crossed and were looking out of their windows.

Ivy smiled when she greeted the Weaslys at kings cross a few hours later. Mrs. Weaslys pulled them all into a hug as they walked up to them, giving Ivy and Harry an extra hug. Behind them stood each of Ron's brothers. Percy, the third of the Weasly children, was not on the group as he had left the family about a year ago. Instead, there was a different brother, he had long red weasly hair, an earring with a fang, and blue eyes. He put out his hand to Harry and shook it. "You're Ivy, right?" He asked. Ivy nodded, she was usually shy around strangers. "I'm bill." He said smiling.

Behind him a woman with a sheet of blonde hair almost as white as Ivy waved to everyone, kissing Harry on each cheek. Ivy thought she looked familiar. "Fleur?" She asked. Fleur nodded and smiled. "This is my future wife." Said bill, looking at his wife as though she were the most beautiful thing that had ever crossed his eyes. They left kings cross and Mrs. Weasly hailed the night bus.

The knight bus was violently purple, had 3 layers instead of one, and was filled with mismatched and comfortable looking seats. However, though the seats were comfortable, the ride to the burrow was not. The driver looked as though he had never used a steering wheel before, and nearly hit about twenty cars on the way there. It appeared, as though the muggles didn't notice that a bright purple bus was driving at top speed down the wrong side of the road.

Ivy was up in the air tossing apples to ginny on her bluebottle a few days later, She hadn't ever been in a quidditch match before, she wasn't bad on a broom, she just didn't want to play Quiditch. Ginny tossed Ivy and apple and she caught it. Though she was good, she wasn't as good as Harry or Ginny. She preferred riding an animal like a hippogriff or a thestral.

Moony arrived a couple hours later. She was happy to see him, though he was very thin and looked ill and pale. She helped mrs weasly in the kitchen with lunch, after a while she asked moony is she could talk to him outside. He looked confused but followed her anyways. "If this is about-." He began, "no, I agree with Harry about him being a death eater, but that's not what I wanted to talk about."

He looked at her, and she continued. "There is a Hufflepuff in my year, and I found out he was a werewolf." Moony suddenly became alert and listened intently. "How did you find out?" He asked, as though Ivy was about to tell him she had been bitten. "I noticed he disappeared around full moon, and he always came back looking thin and pale like you." She said. He nodded and asked if she had told anybody. "No, I'm not that rude. I was hanging out with him. He didn't have many reliable friends to begin with."

He smiled and looked at her. "You remind me of your mother. She was a very clever witch." He said. Now it was Ivys turn to be confused. "You met my mum?" She asked.

Moony smiled. "Your dad began dating her in their third year. We met her because he couldn't resist the urge to show off that he had gotten a girlfriend before James was even able to ask out Lily." He said. "In a way, you look like her. She had the same wavy hair and the same eye shape."

Ivy smiled and then said, "that's funny because the first thing Sirius ever told me was that I looked nothing like either of my parents." At this, Moony laughed. "Well no, not at first glance, it isn't as obvious as it is with Harry." She smiled and they walked back to the burrow in silence.

That evening Christmas Eve dinner was in the kitchen. Ginny had decorated so it was like sitting in a paper chain explosion. Moony got to explaining where he had been to Harry while Fleur complained loudly about the music playing, sung by Celina Warbeck, mrs. Weasly's favorite singer.

The conversation Harry and Moony were having had reached what seemed like Harry was questioning Dumbledore, "but how do we know he's on our side completely, he could be lying, Ivy believes me. I don't think Snape is trustworthy."
Harry was saying.

Moony smiled, looked over at Ivy and said patiently to Harry, "well that depends on if you trust Dumbledore's judgment. Ivy and I do, and therefore I trust Snape." Harry opened his mouth to speak but Moony continued. "I trust Severus because I worked beside him for a year. He made the potion expertly for me, he could've messed it up and I would've been really hurt. But he didn't." But Harry still wanted a reason to argue.

"Because Dumbledore-." Now Ivy interrupted, "Yes, because Dumbledore told him to. Nothing could have stopped Snape from getting an ingredient wrong and making it look like and accident." She said, growing tired of Harry's non stop flow of arguments. "But you said you were on my side!" Harry said, clearly annoyed with her. "I said that the idea of Malfoy being a death eater wasn't far fetched, and I believe you, but I trust Dumbledore and by extension I trust Snape. Now drop it."

She added sternly as Harry opened his mouth to speak again. He looked taken aback by his attitude, as he normally only saw her when she was being kind or calm.
