The first hogsmade visit was scheduled on Halloween, Ivy's birthday. She hated being born on Halloween, Harry's parents were killed on Halloween, and many other bad things occured on her birthday. She walked along the streets of hogsmade, looking at all of the shops and talking and laughing with Marie and Dennis.

The three were goofing off as they walked down the streets, but their banter died off slowly and without really noticing, they fell into a comfortable silence, Ivy standing between Marie and Dennis, holding one of their hands in each of her own.

That night at the feast, Ivy was quiet. She normally was at the feasts, she didn't like loud noises. Snape came down the table, carrying a note in his hand looking at Ivy just like Mcgonagall had on her very first night at hogwarts. "Detention in my office next monday" he said, then handing her the note and striding off. Ivy wasn't the only one at the feast being quiet. For the first time in his life, Draco wasn't talking at all. Ivy opened the note.

Come meet me in my office after the feast.
Password is fanged frisbee

Ivy was confused, What did Dumbledore want to show her, did he want her to know something, did he read the note she'd given Hagrid and want to talk about it? If so, how could he be sure they wouldn't be overheard? She went up to his office after the feast and gave the password. Dumbledore was standing on front of a window, one of his hands was black and withered, Ivy didn't question why. "Hello Ivy" he said in a kind voice.

He gestured her into a chair, she looked over at the Phoenix, who, at the moment was old, frail, ugly, and looked as though his burning day was nearing. She sat down as Dumbledore began pacing. Then he turned on her, "I know about Sirius." He said simply, "And just this morning Remus sent me a letter telling me that you have an animagus form, most curious, yes, I've never seen an animagus triggered be emotion." He said, stroking his very long beard, and without further ado, turned around and looked over at her. "I am going to be showing you some memories."

He poured two memories into the pensive before him. "These are both my memories, now, come along." Ivy stood up, and followed Dumbledore by lowering her face into the pensive, she felt herself being dropped into a cell in askaban.

There, on the bed next to a small barred window, was Sirius. A door opened behind them, and Ivy turned to see Dumbledore, carrying a bundle of blankets, she cautiously walked towards the bundle he was carrying and slowly backed up, there was a small baby with freckles, and a slightly bleeding star shaped scar on her cheek.

Sirius looked up at past Dumbledore and his face fell at the sight of the blankets. "Dumbledore" he said, standing up almost immediately. "I-is that a baby? Why, why here in Azkaban!?" he demanded, a look of panic on his face.

"Your neice" replied Dumbledore. "Your brother is dead. He and his wife both. She survived. I don't think that she will be affected by the Dementors" He looked down at the baby in his arms. "Whoever killed your brother wasn't a very good deatheater. If they didn't have the heart to kill her." He looked up at Sirius. "She is unusual, she has developed her magical ability at the age of five months, or sooner, as far as I know."

"Now, normally, a child will show sign of a magical ability at the age of seven. Developing this early however," he set Ivy down on the bed, "Might mean that she will keep her magical ability."

Just then, the bed started floating, while Ivy was giggling." Present day Ivy stared.

"And about the Dementors?" Sirius asked Dumbledore. "Well, as you should know Dementors are blind, and can't sence complicated feelings. Like animals, babies don't have complicated feelings." He replied, but Sirius still looked unconvinced. "Surely you aren't leaving her?" He asked.
