Ivy wasn't sure what to do. For what felt like the first time ever, she didn't have a plan, she was lost, scared, afraid.

Stop being weak! she told herself, she was thinking through a plan when the door creaked open, she tensed, thinking Bellatrix had come back, when she heard a familiar voice.

"Ivy!" said Dennis, dropping on his knees beside her and untying the knots. He grabbed her hand and helped her up. Without thinking, without caring that Moony was standing right there, She kissed him. The kiss lasted a few seconds before Moony cleared his throat quietly and they parted. "So how long has this been a thing?" he asked, looking over at Dennis.

"Uh... since February? That's not important now. Who died?" She asked, suddenly remembering Snape's words, "The job's done" Moony looked around, "Nobody died, everybody is fine." Moony tried to assure her. "No, Moony, Snape said that 'the job was done' and Bellatrix told me only one person was supposed to die, that's the reason I didn't die!" She didn't realize how angry this was making her.

They went up to the hospital wing, "Dennis are you ok?" Ivy asked, trying to be nicer. He nodded, and she hugged him, they stayed like that for a second before hearing the sound of someone running down the hall and both turned to see Marie. She raced into them, hugging and keeping them as a group before kissing Dennis and then Ivy. "You two are idiots you know that?" She asked, "don't go racing out in a fight like that again, at least not without me." Ivy chuckled, kissed her on the cheek, and then stepped out of the hug.

"Go back to the tower and tell everybody what happened." Dennis seemed scared and Marie looked like she would've liked to argue, but she closed her mouth and went in the direction of the Gryffindor tower.

Moony seemed confused as he watched the exchange, particularly because Marie planted another quick kiss on Ivy's lips, seemingly to reassure herself that Ivy was safe, before taking Dennis's hand and racing down the hall.

"Are you in multiple relationships or are you just really friendly with one of them?" Moony asked.

"We're all in a relationship together. I'm going out with Marie and Dennis, and Marie and Dennis are going out together. We all know about it and we're all happy with it. We don't have time to discuss this right now." She added before pushing open the hospital wing doors.

When they went inside, they were astonished to find Mr. Weasly, Mrs. Weasly, and almost everybody else was gathered around a bed, Ivy ran over and looked at who was laying there. Bill?
Ivy thought, but she didn't understand.

As far as she knew, Bill hadn't done that much to get on the kill list for the death eaters, she sighed with relief when she realized that Bill was still alive, but his once handsome face was now covered in scars and blood. "What happened?" she asked timidly, Ron looked over at her. "He was bit by Grayback. He'll be ok though right?" He looked over at Moony, "It wasn't a full moon, he should be ok"

Moony looked disappointed, "I don't know, He might have some wolfish traits, but he will never be a full werewolf." At that moment, Harry walked in, he looked shaken and he was accompanied by a swollen eyed Hagrid, Professor McGonagall at Hagrid's side, and Ginny at Harry's. "Well there has to be something to fix it," Ron continued, Sounding slightly desperate. "I'll bet Dumbledore can fix it, after all he owes Bill a fair bit of-"

"Ron... Dumbledore's dead." Ginny choked out. There was a loud trumpet noise from Hagrid and several gasps from around the room. Most spent a few moments digesting this news, and after a while Mrs. Weasly turned back to her son. " Oh he was so handsome, and he was going to get Married!" At this, Fleur flared up, "Was!? I still love him! Just because he has a few scars doesn't mean that he won't love me! I would rather have a husband to be proud of! I am beautiful enough for the both of us!" And with that, she snatched the bottle of purple liquid that Mrs. Weasly was dabbing on Bill's scar and began applying it to Bill's face.

Ivy smiled a tiny bit as she watched Fleur. The woman who would've been terrified of getting her hands dirty in Ivy's first year, the girl who left Ivy with the impression that she only cared about beauty, was now toughening up and she seemed to genuinely love Bill, not just for his good looks.

Moony shook his head, "What are we going to do, Dumbledore is dead."

"Remus brings up a point, Hagrid, Harry, come with me, we are going to plan Dumbledore's funeral." and with that, she strode out.

By that time, a low, and sorrowful song had begun to play around the grounds. Goodbye Fawkes. Ivy thought to the phoenix.

Days later, Marie and Ivy left their dormitory, hand in hand, and sat on the sofa of the common room while waiting for Dennis. Ivy had her head on Marie's shoulder and she felt Marie gently place a kiss on the top of her head. "It'll be ok." Ivy whispered, trying to comfort Marie, but more so just trying to tell herself that.

Dennis came down a short while later wearing a black button up shirt and dark grey pants. The three huddled into a hug for a second, exchanged quick kisses, and then headed down to the great hall, Marie in the middle this time holding hands with Dennis and Ivy.

They made their way over to the Hufflepuff table, or what used to be the Hufflepuff table. The houses were more mixed now, adults mingled with their kids or with other adults and Ivy brought Marie and Dennis over to the Hufflepuff table, which seemed to be where the other members of the order were organized.

Mrs Weasley stood up and hugged Ivy tight, then turned to Marie and Dennis. "You must be Ivy's partners." She said fondly, hugging them both before taking her place at the table. Remus gave them a small smirk, since he had seen them all the night before, but then turned back to picking at his food.

The order made their way down to the funeral and sat together, Ivy leaned her head on Dennis's shoulder and gently wiped away his tears when the funeral began. The current minister of magic pretended to be sad and it made Ivy's blood boil to think of all the people who were only here because they had to, not because they cared about Dumbledore at all.

After the funeral, Ivy walked over to the carriages and patted the large thestral, she didn't care who saw her, she didn't know what to think, it was all so confusing. "Hello Apollo" she whispered, picking a piece of bacon she had stolen from the table that morning, he happily took it and snorted his thanks.

"Hey Ivy" Said Harry behind her, she turned around, he was holding a book with a green cover. "I assume you aren't going back to Hogwarts... so you might be bored, you can read this." He handed the book to Ivy, Harry Potter and the Half Blood prince. "I had a few days to make it, But you can't read it until we've left." Harry told her.

"Where are you going?" Ivy asked, Harry nodded and replied, "I knew you would ask that, the book will give you a hint, Dumbledore left me with a mission." Ivy nodded understandingly and waved as she walked off.

Ivy got into the carriage and peeked out the window at the castle. This was the castle she had truly grown to love, and now she wasn't sure if she would ever see it again.
