Chapter 4-Illea Report

Since our first date and our kiss, it's been about ten days. We've met a few times in the music room or the library and just talked or sometimes we have a midnight chat in the gardens. I haven't told anyone about our kiss, cause well I'm not one to blabbler and go and brag about our fancy dates cause really I don't care that much. Or I think I do? I don't really know? It's kind of confusing at this point. Anyways I did tell Lauren and Nixie about our date and surprisingly they were excited and happy for me. Today is Thursday so we have a free day. Lauren, and Nixie are generally always in the women's room and sometimes in the music room. I however like to go in and out of the women's room. I'm not a huge people person and I can only handle jealous and bragging girls so long. I like to spend my time in my room with my maids if they are free, in the music room improving my music, or I like to spend it in the library which is also amazing. In our house, I only had about five books, which were all great books,  but I had reread them at least five times and that is if I had time to read at all. Here in the library there are millions of books to choose from, so many classic books, To Kill A Mockingbird, Tuck Everlasting, The Giver, etc. 

I am currently in the library searching for a new book to read after I finished To Kill A Mockingbird. Honestly there are so many books in this place, I would die reading all of these books in my lifetime. I chose on a Fahrenheit 451. I had settled into one of the nearby catches and asked for some tea. I then started reading my wonderful book. I had gotten lost reading into it, and it wasn't until Sara came running into my room to tell me I had 30 minutes to get ready for dinner. I quickly close my book and ran down the hall with Sara and came into my room.

"oh, why do you always cut dinner and lunch times so close"

"oh never mind that Freya, we only have 20 minutes to get her ready"

"come here"

They but me in the shower, and then they quickly had taken me out. They let my hair out of my shower cap, and out some product in it. They let my natural curly hair do the work and quickly reapplied some of my makeup, and shoved me out the door. I had ran down to the dining room and had quickly came into the dining room, breathless and curtsying to the royal family before sitting down. Of course everyone was staring at me when I entered. A lot of the girls were smirking and or snickering at me being late. I thought to myself I really need to get a hold of time. Like I really need to. When I sat down inbetween Nixie and Lauren. 

Lauren leaned next to me and whispered "where were you?" 

"sorry I got caught up reading a new book"

"do you have a life outside of the library?"

I scoffed "do you and Nixie hang out with other bragging girls all day or do you just tune out their screeching?"

"Fair enough"

I heard Adrian and Genevieve snickering and trying to keep his mouth shut while America was whispering something to Maxon causing him to laugh lightly. Derek was sitting there eating his dinner quietly and Madelyn was next to America and tugging her dress. I continued to eat my dinner peacefully and have Amy and her little group glaring daggers at me throughout my dinner. I didn't really care personally. Once I finished dinner, I excused myself from the table and went to my room to continue reading. It wasn't until a letter had been brought to me by Penny. 

"you have a letter from your family"

"thanks!"

I quickly opened up the letter while plopping down on my bed. 

Dear Cypress

I'm glad to hear that you have made some friends and sorry for not writing back to you soon enough. Aaron is doing pretty well, he's a strong boy and he'll power through it. The checks that we've gotten has helped us a lot and were saving a lot of it to the bank for our future. Anyways I'm glad to hear they have a music room filled with every musical instrument you can dream of. Me and Dad have always been sorry and sad that we couldn't help get you very music instruments or lessons. You've always had a passion for it and were glad to hear that you have been enjoying it. Anyways I just wanted to say thank you for signing up. Anyways you're going to have to write a letter to Bea soon, she wants to know all the juicy gossip between you and Prince Adrian.
