Chapter 25-Maddie's b day party

It was Maddie's birthday party. She was turning thirteen, which is quite an age. Honestly I've been thinking of birthday presents that Maddie would like, I don't want to get her a normal gift. I really want something I think that Maddie would love and enjoy. I mean the palace can literally provide her with anything, I mean anything. She has a full fledged music room to learn music, books upon millions of books, and like everything. Then an idea pops into my head, I had remembered that Maddie had always wanted a cat or a dog, and her parents were getting her a kitten for her birthday, don't judge me, but I was eavesdropping on the conversation and I had also remembered that Maddie, if she was going to get a cat or a dog she would name it Eridanus, which means river, and Maddie loved the ocean, the water, and she was taking free diving lessons. I knew what I was getting for her. We were each given 100 dollars for Maddie's gift so I had asked one of the guards to take me down to a local shop in Angeles which specialized in animal supplies and also did custom name tag charms. I had brought my pair of black skinny jeans from home and I put on a white blouse. I then grabbed a bag, and went to the shop. I was just going to walk there, but I guess I have to take the car. So I got in and we drove to the small shop. When we were driving, there were millions of people looking and many taking out their phones to get a glimpse of me. I had gotten out of the car and many people asked pictures and asked for autographs. Which of course I did. I talked to a few people before going into the shop called 'Angeles Pet Supply Shop'. I went in and the customers were staring and some asking to take a photo. There was no one at the front desk, so I waited and looked around the store. When someone came from the employees room, it was a teen girl wearing blue jeans with a white t shirt. She had a couple of leashes in which she dropped and stared at me. I went to help pick them up

"here, let me help"

"no, it's alright I got them" 

"please I insist"

She allowed me to help her as I walked over to put them on the rack. She then curstied to me as I told her to not bother. She smiled, then an older woman came out, she looked very similar to the teen girl, who I am assuming is her mother

"hey honey"

"hi mom"

Mom had darted her eyes form me to her daughter. Her mother immediately curtsied

"oh no, please don't you don't have too, I'm not royalty"

"you are a selected"

"it's not necessary" I smiled at her

"what are you doing in our shop?"

"I want to have a custom name tag done for a kitten"

She then ushered me to a chair with her daughter where we discussed what we had wanted

"so, this is for Maddie, she will be getting a kitten for her birthday and I wanted to get her a custom tag charm"

"wait, Princess Madelyn?"

I nodded, adn they stared at me wide-eyed, and I chuckled at them. 

"so, uhh what material do you think you want?"

"I was thinking of getting her something adjustable, so that when the kitten grows, she can still use it"

"I like it," she then pulled out three different materials and colors. I had chosen a woven stitched pattern and a light pink color.

"ok, what is the name?"

"Eridanus, and on the back besides the contact info, can you put river on it as well"

"of course we can"

"so that is it, when is the party"

"next week"
