Chapter 23-I love you

I was leaving my family again. It was surreal and crazy to think like that. I had known that I would return, but I felt like during that time, I was returning home, like I was eliminated, but I wasn't. Honestly I feel like I didn't have enough time with my family. I had repack all of the things I had in my bag and also grabbed Aaron's teddy bear. Mom and the rest of the family wanted me to have a memento that belonged to Aaron. I said bye to each member of my family as I was dressed in my similar fashion of sweatpants, a tank, and a hoodie. I had stepped into the car as it drove back to the private airport. Once I was there, there were flashing cameras trying to get my picture and talk. I had breezed past them as I stepped onto the airport. It was crazy how I got these rush of feelings like how I did when I first stepped onto the airplane, I knew that I was just returning, but it still felt weird to me. Once the six hour flight was done, which was over in a flash considering I fell asleep, I had quickly gotten off the plane and we had driven to the palace. Once I was there, I was still amazed by the palace and how it looked. Sometimes it did feel like a cage, but it was still magnificent. I had arrived to the front of the palace as everyone was there to greet me, Harper was there as well. When I stepped out, everyone smiled at me. Lauren, Nixie, Nella, Gia, and Gen came rushing up to me

"I still see you haven't gotten rid of the sweatpants" Nella said

I rolled my eyes "of course I didn't who would I be if I came in wearing a dress"

"we would probably think something is really wrong with you" Lauren said

"how was the funeral" Gabe asked

"it was good, I got to say some words about him, and tell him how thankful I am. We had the ceremony on a grass hill where we all as kids used to play together."

"that's nice" Gen said

"so how's everything here, I still see Adrian as yet to narrow anyone down yet?"

Adrian rolled his eyes as he came to hug me "I'm still figuring it out"

"of course you are" I said in a duh tone

Adrian again rolled his eyes as me and Harper hugged "I'm glad you got to say goodbye to your brother"

"me too, he deserved it"

I then hugged Harper as we all walked in the palace together. Honestly I was starting to wonder, how was Adrian truly going to figure out who he wanted. Harper was perfect queen material, Nixie was sweet and kind, could make friends with anyone, me, I don't know what I am good at, apparently I'm good at speaking what is one my mind, and I am not afraid to use my voice. Four people have believed that I would become queen, they wrote to me on a card, I can't wait until we see the day you rule Queen Cypress Schreave.

"what are you thinking about, we should have a girls day"

"yea, I'd like that"

I had went to my room to see my maids, honestly I was really happy to see them again, they became more of my friends than my maids

"Hey"

"Cypress, you're back"

"how was the funeral"

"it was nice, I got to say goodbye to Aaron"

Everyone smiled as I hugged them, I had quickly told them that I would be having a girls day with Gen and the rest of them. I quickly went up the elevator too meet Gen. I knocked on the door as Nella opened it up

"hey"

"come in"

I had sat down as I was thinking, honestly my mind was drifting to who Adrian would possibly choose.
