"Titus think about what you're doing- She's going to know."

"No...Not if I cover it up. Act like you left with your people."

I shake my head, biting down on my teeth every several seconds. "Okay look. I'll g-go. I'll leave r-right now with Clarke and Octavia." He picks up the gun and points it at me. I back up a bit and let my hand linger on the knob.

"I can't let you do that now-" Titus pauses as he places his hand on the trigger. "Because as long as you live Lexa will never execute her duty!" I glance down hearing the gun fired. My eyes widen at blood seeping through my shirt. My lips separate as I hear the door open but as it does I can't help my body as it falls forwards.

"Hey! Hey! Y/N?" I hear a familiar voice as I cough slightly feeling a warm liquid come from my mouth. I feel cold hands on my forehead and then my hand squeezing it. I close my eyes a moment and reopen meeting green eyes.

"L-Lexa..." I choke out, my eyes barely open. For the first time since meeting Lexa I see tears rise into her eyes. They shift back and forth between my own and I have to look away a moment, looking her over confused. I saw her shot. I saw her fall into my arms. I can still hear her words over and over again inside my head. And I can still picture the life leaving her eyes and myself placing Titus' gun to my head. But she's alive. She's well. Lexa isn't harmed but me...

"Heda... Heda I'm sorry," Titus speaks, causing my body to shake, earning a groan to escape my lips. Lexa's eyes tear from mine as she looks up to Titus. A death glare takes over her face as she looks to the bald man.

"Ai told Yu nou gon bash op em (I told you not to harm her)!" Lexa shouts as I feel her hands switch to my stomach and press against it. I close my eyes and try moving but feel too much pain rising in me.

"I'm sorry Heda. I don't know... know what came over me," Titus speaks back.

"Get Clarke!" Lexa shouts back and I hear heavy footsteps from Titus running. I close my eyes a second then reopen meeting Lexa's worried ones.

"I-I'm sorry," I mumble keeping my eyes locked on hers. She shakes her head one hand now on my cheek. Her thumb rubs back and forth against my cheek as her other hand keeps applying pressure to the gunshot wound.

"Don't be. You have nothing to be sorry for," Lexa whispers back, but I shake my head.

"I should've been m-more careful-" I pause a second clenching my jaw, then continue. "I should've... Should've known s-something like this were to happen."

"No... No. Y/N there was no way to know, okay? But you can't give up-"

"Do you remember that dream I-I told you about?" I ask, cutting the girl off. I stare deeply into her eyes and she tilts her head to the side.

"The one of which you told me of you had before ever meeting me?" I nod my head at her slowly, closing my eyes a second. I feel Lexa's hand push my head gently causing my eyes to reopen. "What about the dream Y/N?"

"I think I f-foreseen the future..." I let my voice trail but Lexa shakes her head biting her lip. Before she can speak though I hear someone enter the room.

"Wha- What the hell happened?" Clarke's voice rings out. I slowly glance up but Clarke is already down by my side as Lexa is. I look away from Clarke feeling pressure applied to my stomach. I clench my jaw and close my eyes as a groan of pain escapes my lips.

"Clarke, help her! Please!" Lexa shouts as she takes her hand off of my cheek and grabs a hold of my hand. She squeezes it and I shake my head and reach up my hand to Lexa's cheek. After lying here, realizing what the hell is actually going on. After letting the reality sink in and the position I'm in. I have to be strong... for her. For Lexa.

"L-Lexa it's o-okay," I mumble, but Lexa's eyes click to mine as she shakes her head.

"You're not dying. Not today," Lexa replies. "I'm gonna take care of you."

"Tha-that's what you said in my dream," I whisper a small smile spreading to my lips. "But...Ai gonplei ste odon."

"No Y/N. Your fight is not over. Your fight is not over! Not now, not ever!" Lexa speaks and all I can do is shake my head. My eyes flick over to Clarke's. Tears fill her eyes and I shake my head.

"Take c-care of her for m-me," I whisper moving my head slightly to Lexa. Clarke hesitantly nods. "And tell R-Raven, Bellamy and all of th-them that we'll meet again. One day, s-some day."

"Y/N-" Clarke shakes her head and I nod my head slowly. "May we meet again."

"What?" Lexa's voice rings through the room. "Clarke, we can save her. We can help her! She's not dying!"

"Lexa, it's too late-"

"NO!" Lexa's voice is strong, stern. I squeeze her hand that holds mine causing her to turn her head back to me. Our eyes lock once more and a small smile inches to my lips.

"Lexa I need you to promise me a-something," I whisper.

"Y/N," Lexa barely breathes out shaking her head.

"Promise me... that no matter what you'll keep living... you'll keep living and not just surviving."

"Y/N-"

"Pl-please... Promise me," I cut her off with tears slowly slipping from both of our eyes. But finally I see the girl nod her head up and down.

"I promise... I promise Y/N." A small smile inches to my lips as I nod slowly, thinking for a second feeling Lexa squeeze my hand again.

"For a while...I didn't k-know what this phrase meant. I-I now know wh-what it does-" I pause seeing the confusion in the commander's eyes. "Ai hod yu in Leksa kom trikru." Lexa stares back at me, shock and happiness filling her face but I squeeze her hand and slowly feel my eyes become heavier than they have been. I feel Lexa squeeze my hand. Within seconds I feel her lips planted on mine giving me a gentle, passionate kiss before pulling away and feeling her shaky breathes near my ear.

"I love you too," she whispers and slowly adds, "On the shores or in the trees. On the mountains, in the reigns, in spirit may you have safe passage...May you leave the shore and find the next... I will never forget you my love. Your spirit will love on with me... Not in the flame but in my heart. Always and forever... May we meet again Y/N Kom Trikru." As her words escape her lips I feel my eyes close shut and total blackness take over with only Lexa's words and her eyes and smile playing over in my head...
