Some how, someway I make it to the village seeing grounders everywhere. But when I see Octavia running up to me, I hesitate as her eyes go wide. "Y/N? What the hell are you doing here? You shouldn't be-"

"I know...I know," I say cutting the Blake sister off. "I need...to s-speak to Lexa." Octavia only nods and looks around grabbing my hand and pulling me along. It's not long before I'm sent down the same flight of stairs I ran up to save Raven's life. When I get down them I spot Lexa putting on some weird, torn up hood thing.

"Lexa?" I speak gently causing the girl to jump and step back. Her eyes go wide and then soften.

"Y/N...What are you doing here?" She asks, staring at me. Our eyes stay locked and I'm not sure what to say now. I've lost all train of thought looking into her green eyes. I missed them. "Y/N?"

"I was worried-" Before I could finish my statement the girl shakes her head, turning away from me.

"Really?" She looks away and continues to place her hood on. "It didn't appear that way the other night when you kissed Raven."

My eyes grew wide as I stare at the side of Lexa's face. "I- Lexa I can explain that," I say but Lexa holds up her hand.

"No." She turns and looks to me. "You have nothing to explain-"

"Obviously I do because you didn't see everything," I cut her off again, continuing quickly. "She kissed me and I pulled away telling her we couldn't do that. She just lost the love her life. It didn't mean any-" I stop a minute my mind rolling as I tilt my head. Lexa turns slightly locking our eyes once more. "Why do you- You're jealous?"

"Jealous? I'm not jealous." I bite my lip, a small smirk inching my lips. "It's weakness Y/N."

"Mhm sure. And that's why your eyes always get soft around me? Or why we made out many of-" Before I could finish Lexa takes a hold of my hand dragging me towards a back door. I follow along feeling the warmth of her hand against mine. I keep my eyes on her back, confused as we go in and out of places before we're up in the trees walking away from the village. I finally had enough and stopped, pulling the girl back.

"Y/N, we do not have time," Lexa said, glaring at me. Her whole demeanor changing.

"Don't have time for what?" I ask back, switching my eyes back and forth between her beautiful green ones very confused as to why one minute we're talking about why she's jealous to us rushing out of the village.

"There's a missile that is to hit this village. We must go, now."

My eyes go wide and I can't believe her words. Swiftly I turn my head looking to the village seeing them all doing their own thing. All living their lives as if nothing is going on. This only causes me to look back at Lexa, locking our eyes.

"Lexa...If there's a missile coming straight for this village...Why is no one leaving?" Lexa remains silent for a moment shaking her head and reaching forward taking a hold of my hand. But I quickly pull away. "No! This is serious! You're letting your people die!"

"I'm letting us live," Lexa responds, her eyes wide. I shake my head and point to the village.

"You're their commander! They look up to you and you're leaving them here to die?" My voice raises and the girl shakes her head. But no more words are spoken as a bright light fires up the sky. Lexa quickly grabs my hand and pulls me more up the hill but we don't make it far as a loud crash appears causing Lexa and I to turn just in time to see a flame burst up sending us flying back.

All I hear is ringing and faint screams fill my ears. I feel hands on me but I can't make out who it is. I pick up my head and shake it a few times, trying to get the ringing to stop. That's when I hear a familiar voice.

"Y/N, come on. Come on we have to go," Lexa's voice calls out. Slowly I turn my body towards her, the ringing loosening up. As my eyes lock with Lexa's I could have swore I seen half of a smile inch to her lips. But I can't tell as I look away again feeling her arms try to get me to my feet. When she finally does I look to what once was the village. My eyes sadden as tears fill them. The village was destroyed. Gone. Burning the ground as we stand here. I feel Lexa's hand on my shoulder and I quickly shrug it off.

"You...You let them...You let them all die..." My voice is low as I look at the burning down village.

"I did what was best-"

"You did what was best for you," I sharply spoke cutting the commander off. "You let them kill all these people. Your people Lexa. You could have..." I couldn't finish my thought. I couldn't finish what I wanted to say. What even can I say? People are dead and according to the faint screams people are hurt. Badly.

I shook my head watching the smoke and flames. I didn't even bother looking over when I hear footsteps. But when I hear Clarke's voice it only drew my anger. I turned my head and looked to both Clarke and Lexa. Both of them exchanged words and I shook my head. I turned on my heels and began walking towards the burning village. I don't get far however as gunshots begin. Immediately I feel a hand cover my mouth and someone take me down to the ground. I struggle as much as I can. Kicking, trying to tear the person's hand off of my mouth and moving my body.

"Stay quiet," Lexa's voice whispers into my ear, gently. I stop struggling and open my eyes looking straight ahead.

"There's a spotter. He's alone," I hear Clarke whisper. Lexa keeps a hold of me tightly.

"If he's a spotter he's making sure we're dead. You can't-"

"I'm going to kill him," Clarke cut the commander off. Within moments I hear Clarke taking off. A sigh escapes from Lexa as she turns her head, her warm breathes hitting my ear.

"We're going to follow her. Stay quiet," Lexa whispers again letting go of me. I quickly get to my feet and turn facing the girl. She says nothing as she extends her arm out to the side. I roll my eyes shaking my head as the gunshots continue to go off. I walk past the girl and go off in the direction, I guess, Clarke went feeling Lexa right on my heels.

And we climb up the mountain as the sun slowly comes up. Clarke and Lexa exchange few words on the way and we've somehow come along Lincoln. He seemed confused when we met with him but nonetheless he leads the way. Clarke behind him and then Lexa and then me. We stop behind a rock and soon gunshots are shot at us. I feel Lincoln's arm wrap around my waist pulling me over behind more behind the rock. I stay where I am, up against the rock, another round of words are spoken before Clarke stands and begins firing her own gun. Lincoln lets go of me and quickly climbs out from behind the rock.

I turn my head and glance to Lexa who looks to me. There's something in her eyes when she looks to me but nonetheless she turns, facing her back towards me. I bite my lip watching her walk out from behind the walk. I go to follow only to feel a hand cup over my mouth and an arm pull me back. I could barely comprehend what was happening till I was behind a bush, forced to the ground. My cheek lay against the dirt as my hands were brought behind my back.

"We got to do this quick before they notice," an unfamiliar voice whispered. Rope quickly but tightly wrapped around my wrists as a piece of cloth was shoved into my mouth. I fought as hard as I could. Moving every inch of me to get away from whoever the hell snatched me. That's when a gunshot goes off. I jump and feel my body lifted. I try to scream but only muffles come out. And the last thing I see is the trees in front of me before a bag is placed over my head and something stuck in the side of my neck, causing my eyes to become drowsy and everything to fade to blackness.
