Fires light up all throughout the field across from Arkadia

Fires light up all throughout the field across from Arkadia. My eyes stay locked, searching the camp the grounders had set up. And it's funny, sitting here on this somewhat edge seeming how the grounders could kill us at any given moment. Especially, if Lincoln dies. That's why they were there. It has to be. But I don't get what was wrong with Lincoln. He appeared so different. Hel, at this rate...Everybody did.

"There you are," Bellamy's voice rings out. I pick up my head and turn, looking to find the curly haired boy sit beside me. I look back out to the grounder site moments after. You alright?"

"I'm fine," I say simply. Out of the corner of my eye I see the Blake sibling nod his head, placing his gun down beside him on the ground.

"I'm glad to see you alive." I remain silent. My eyes peak up to the sky, a moment nodding my head up and down.

"I mean it. We all went looking for you. Hell Raven went day and night. Even after she got shot-" The boys pauses, I remain silent. "We were all worried, Y/N."

"I know...I'm sorry," I finally say, turning my head and locking eyes with the boy. "But I'm fine. They didn't hurt me."

"Really?" Bellamy's eyes scanned my face and then trailed to my stomach and arms. "They didn't hurt you? Then explain those bruises on your face and on your stomach that Abby showed me when she went to get the bullet."

"Yeah...Well-" I pause a second, tearing my eyes away. "I tried running a few times in the beginning. Some of the grounders d-don't like to listen to t-their commander."

"You were with the commander right?" I nod my head up and down slowly. The both of us go silent, looking once again to the grounder camp. And it's not long before we see torches leaving the grounder camp. Bellamy's quick to get to his feet, grabbing his gun. I look to him as he takes a glance towards me.

"I'm glad to have you back," he whispers, giving me a small smile and pat on the shoulder heading off. And as I watch him run I notice an olive skinned girl limping my way. I clench my jaw, looking away for a moment, till she finally gets to me, bending down and sitting.

There's a long silence that dawns over us. I switch my eyes out to the torches that move our way soon feeling Raven's hand on my knee. I turn and look to her, finding her side profile.

"You said you were with the commander-" Raven pauses, dropping her head. "Did she hurt you? Say anything to you?"

"No, no she didn't," I answer gently. "If anything, s-she always made sure I was...safe."

"Safe? You were safe with us," Raven's voice was confused as it began to raise a bit. She picks up her head, turning to lock eyes with mine. I only nod my head.

"One of her scouts took me. S-She wanted to talk to one of us and eventually she took it upon herself to make sure I stayed and was safe u-under her protection."
