Night comes quickly. Raven works in a tent, trying to do something with the radio. Clarke had went and met with Lexa, going over plans for something. I sit up against a building, looking around the village. Villagers had returned to their houses when night fall fell. The grounders working under Lexa however, roam about. Some of them when passing give me a look. What that look is? I can't tell. But they all do it yet all I can do is look to the ground, messing with my fingers every time.
My mind races with a trillion thoughts, but they all seem to be of Lexa and the events that have taken place today. It was incredibly strange of how Lexa acted. This morning and even last night everything was fine, but once we got to the village something in her changed. And I'm still racking my brain trying to figure out what the hell happened, but no matter how much I think about it I can't find any solutions. And on top of that my stomach feels extremely painful-
"Y/N?" I pick up my head from my fingers, clenching my jaw to find Abby. Her eyes look back and forth between mine. I just look away and move in the spot I sit in, putting my arm over my stomach. Within a couple moments Abby bends down and places her hand on my arm that covers my stomach. "You okay?"
"Yeah...What's the plan here?" I ask, looking over to where I had watched Clarke and Lexa disappear too.
"I don't know," Abby responded gently. "They're speaking about it now. I'll know when you know- Are you sure you're okay?" I turn my head towards Abby only to have her raise up her hand, placing it against my forehead. I let her as she pulls her hand away placing it then on my cheek.
"Can I take a look at your stomach?" She questions. I nod my head as i remove my arm from my stomach. Abby gently and carefully lifts up my shirt, pausing a moment. Swiftly, I follow her gaze and look down finding blood seeping through the bandage.
"Th-That's normal though, right?" I pause a moment looking up, then continuing. "When C-Clarke changed it the other day there was b-blood." At this point I was trying to convince the both of us, but Abby says nothing as she leans forward gently moving the bandage a bit. Her eyes go wide but then soften.
"Come on. I should change the bandage." I nod as Abby lowers my shirt, standing. She holds out her hand and I take a hold of it. We walk towards the tent Raven works in. Inside I find the olive skinned girl working hard. I tear my eyes away and take a seat on a chair as Abby walks over grabbing some tools from her bag. I keep my eyes on the ground, clenching my jaw seeing Abby walking back towards me. She sets supplies next to me and lifts up my shirt once again.
"Holy shit- What happened?" Raven asked. I pick up my head finding her brown eyes on my stomach.
"It was from earlier today...She'll be fine," Abby responds as I feel a cool breeze hit my stomach. I shut my eyes feeling cold hands against my skin. Abby begins placing something over the wound and does something else and within a blink of an eye I felt her wrapping me back up. I open my eyes slowly and immediately lock eyes with Raven's. Neither of us say anything. We just stare at one another till Abby pulls down my shirt and stands. That's when I see Raven turn in her chair, beginning to work again. A soft sigh escapes my lips as I look to Abby thanking her before standing. I take a moment after I stand, walking towards the exit.
