I was beyond excited for the up coming weekend because we were driving 6 hours away to the big city to get our stuff for prom. It was only february but if I had to put in an order I didn't want it to be too late for prom. On Saturday we left at 5 in the morning. It was a long drive but we made it there around 11. (We went to the big city).

We stopped at a gas station on the edge of the city. When I got out of the car, I threw my arms up and stretched my whole body. It felt so good. Then I walked over to Noah who was filling up the car, "I'm so excited.". He smiled, "I can't wait to see you..".

After we paid for the gas we went straight to the huge formal store on a busy street. The store was very fancy, not like the stores back home. It was huge on the inside. First Noah picked out his suit and then he came with me to look at the dresses. After about 25 dresses, I found it. It was a light blue A-line dress with a sweet heart neck line. From my Natural waist up, it was covered in sparkly glitter.

When I walked out from the curtain, Noah got quiet and teared up. "Noah.. you ok?". He nodded and smiled as he walked towards me. "God you're beautiful." he said gently kissing my fore head.

After we paid for everything we head to the car. "I didn't even realize it had snowed this much whole we were in there!" I said putting my hood up. "Ya me neither... looks like the roads might be slippery." Noah replied sounding concerned. It wasn't unusual for us to get snow in February. We had just started towards the highway when Noah's phone went off then a few minutes later mine did too. It was mom calling me, "Helllo?". "Dani how far away are you guys?" she said sounding panicked. "We were just about to get on the highway...". She cut me off mid sentence, "No! Don't ... Maybe you guys should just stay the night...because the roads are really bad..". I was actually kind of excited. I had brought a ton of money with me that I had been saving and I still had lots left over after paying for my dress so I could pay from a room. "Ok mom love you .." I said before hanging up.

"Well that was mom and she thinks we should just wait the storm up here..." Noah said hanging up his cell. "So does my mom." I said smiling at him.

It didn't take long to find a hotel and get checked in. Our room was on the 14th floor. As I walked through the door to our room I was shocked. The room was so big. There was a queen size bed and a huge window. It was so pretty and prissy looking. "So do you want me to sleep on the sofa ?" I asked digging through my purse. "Don't wanna share the bed with me?" Noah said tickling me. "Of course I do! But I didn't know if you wanted to share or..".

We lazed around for an hour or two before I remembered I hadn't eaten all day. "I'm starving!". Noah sat up, "Wanna go get something to eat?". I quickly went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. My face was make up free and looked so unappealing. I hadn't put any on yet so I dug through my purse and did it.

Once I was done, I looked my self over. Feeling satisfied I went back to join Noah, before leaving the room. We walked down to the lobby, only to find the snow coming down harder then ever. "Here you go up to the room and I'll go get us something..." Noah said walking towards the lobby doors. "No!" I blurted out.

"I'll be fine..." he said turning to face me. "No .... I don't want to risk it...." I said wrapping my arms around him. "Lets just go there.." I said, pointing towards the hotel restaurant. Noah didn't argue to much about me preventing him from going out in the snow.

It was quiet in the restaurant. There was a man who looked to be about 26 drinking alone at the bar. At the other end of the restaurant was a couple who looked to be in their mid 30s. They were all dressed up and were quietly fighting over something. The man at the bar probably didn't even know anyone but Noah and I were there. Because they were hidden behind a long wall by the entrance. We were seated in a booth in the middle of the room. It was dimly lit and smelled of strong cologne.
