Unbelievable

Chapter 3

It was eating away at me.

My heart felt like it was beating in my ears and I couldn't get him off my mind.

The sound of my phone going off broke my thoughts. I read the screen:

Noah : Hey did you make it home alright?

I quickly typed back, "Ya thanks again.".

I was over the moon.

The next day I got to school early and sat in the cafeteria, reading my notes. There were only a few other people in the cafeteria, up in the front corner.

I was deep into reading when somebody sat next to me, "Hey why are you here so early?".

My head shot up and I looked beside me.  "Hey Noah. I don't know, I was just to bored at home.".

Noah smiled and I swear, I almost fainted.

I couldn't believe a guy like him was talking to me. We talked for a few minutes before he asked me what classes I had.

I had to go to class but could I really pass up this opportunity?

"Oh just English but I was gonna skip anyway." I lied.

"Come with me.. I hate being alone during off classes." He beamed.

The bell rang soon, he got up and motioned for me to follow.

I did obediently, like a puppy.

We walked out to the parking lot and over to a car. He started to get in but he must have noticed that I looked a little off."You can trust me.".

I knew about sketchy strangers but I felt at ease with him.  There was just something about him.

I smiled and got in. We drove for a few minutes until we came to a huge wooded hill.

He parked and looked at me "I want to show you something......its amazing.".

After we walked half way up there was a cave opening. Noah lead me through it and just before we turned the corner, I heard running water. "Is that water?" I asked. "You'll see." Noah said looking back at me.

Once we rounded the corner I saw it, the most beautiful, wonderful place I had ever seen. "What is this place? It's amazing!" I said wide eyed. Noah came to a stop at the end of the cave"I don't know, there's just something about it. I found it one day, long ago by accident. It's my place to get away from everything..... my secret.". I was surprised "But if this is your secret why did you bring me here?".

He looked at me for a moment then said "I knew you would appreciate it. Your .... different then everyone else.". "Different?" I said looking a little hurt. Noah grabbed my hand and said "It's a good different." with a huge smile. We sat and talked for a long time. When I pulled out my phone it was quarter to 12.
