Unbelievable

Chapter 6

They won 10-4. After the game Caylen walked home because she didn't want to talk to Noah. I offered to just talk to Noah tomorrow and drive her home but she insisted.

I waited at the end of the locker room hall for about ten minutes before the boys started pouring out. The last ones were Scott and Noah "Did you enjoy the game?". I smirked "You know I did!".

The two boys walked me out to my car, where there was a thin sheet of ice starting to form over everything. Noah pulled me in tight and hugged me. I could smell his strong but clean oder. I knew they had showered because neither one could stand being gross. His hug was so warm and comforting.

"Good night .... and Dani ? Be careful the roads are probably slippery." Noah said before watching me get into the car.

He was right. The roads were extremely bad. I was actually kind of scared. It took me almost an hour to get home because I had to drive so slow.... oh well better safe then sorry. After I kicked off my boots, I pulled my phone out and sure enough four missed calls from Noah.

"Hello?" I said into my end of the phone. "You're alright? You're home?" He said almost panicky. "Yes and I'm fine. I'm not going any where else tonight." I said trying not to giggle. It was funny how much he reminded me of my mother sometimes. He paused for a moment then said "Promise?". I smirked "I promise.

This feeling was so new to me. It was like every day there's something new that makes me so overwhelmed with happiness and love. I had never experienced anything like this before. Someone I never even dreamed would even talk to me, sees something in me no one else ever had. Things I've never seen in myself.

In the morning I got ready and sat out on our front steps to wait. Alex was picking me up because Noah's car was in the shop. "Hey you coming?" I looked up to see Alex and Kenzie waiting for me. The drive to school was extremely awkward. Kenzie kept asking me weird questions,"Come on Kenzie, leave her alone." Alex said.

When we got to school I walked with Alex to go find Noah. We walked in silence until Alex broke it"You're pretty cool. Ya know that? You don't cause drama like most girls.". I couldn't help but laugh "Thanks.". Suddenly someone started tickling me and I almost fell on the floor. "Where do you think your going?" I looked up from their arms to see Noah.

"How do you do it?" He said still holding me in his arms. I was so confused, "Do what?". "Look so beautiful."Noah said with out even a pause. I was so luck to have someone actually care.

The feeling of being walked down the hall by someone that you know loves you is so empowering. The a familiar voice broke my thoughts "What are you doing Noah?". It was Kayla. She went out with everyone and she was just a two faced bitch. Noah got defensive, "What do mean?" he said. Kayla looked me over with a twisted frown, "Your walking with her. Why?". My heart sank and I dropped his hand. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes so I dropped my head. He was probably gonna comes to his senses and drop me like an old rag.
