"You have to tell him ..." Caylen stated pacing the room. Tears started to flow from my eyes and as much as I wanted to forget that it even happened, I knew she was right.

I picked up my cell and let it ring, "Kenzie..?" I said softly into my end. "Are you ready? Do you want me to come with you?" Kenzie replied kindly. "Thanks but no I think I have to do this alone." I decided wiping away my tears.

Once I got of the phone, I cleaned myself up and pulled on a hat. Then I texted Noah.

Me- Hey can you meet me at the spot in 10?

He instantly replied.

Noah- of course :)

I dropped Caylen off then headed straight to our spot. The whole time I tried to prepare myself for the worst.

When I got there, his car was already parked but he wasn't in it. So I climbed the hill and followed the path to our spot. I saw him. "Hey, I thought you were going to Caylen's?" Noah said approaching me. "There's something I need to tell you or err show you.... you might want to sit down." I said in a slow manner. Noah look confused, but he sat down on a rock near me and I began to tell him the whole story.

Once I was down I pulled off my hat and began to cry. Noah stood. I thought he was going to leave but he didn't. His face was red and he look mad. He came over and wrapped me in a hug. "I'm sorry...you don't deserve this...any of this." Noah whispered in my ear. He sounded like he was crying. I pulled away slightly, he was. "So..you're not gonna dump me?" I questioned bluntly.

"Of course not this is my fault, I should of went with you." he said wiping a few tears. I continued to express to Noah that it wasn't his fault but I knew he wouldn't be convince.

For the next couple of weeks I continued to hide what was left of my hair despite Noah's full support. Once the rest of his friends found out they kind of started to pity me. If Noah was sick, one of them would walk me to my class, even though I told them I was fine. In a school were the hockey players are idolized, you get some pretty weird looks when you're a nobody walking with one of them.

Soon rumours started to fly. People said that I was doing "favours" for the whole hockey team. When I had never done anything like that before in my life. I also didn't know the whole team I only knew Noah's friends. It hurt but it made me so frustrated.

Whenever I walked down the halls I would hear people whispering about me or giving me dirty looks.

One day when Noah was sick, Kenzie was walking me to ocean studies when I lost it. We were walking by Kayla and her friends and she started laughing. I stopped and turned on my heels. "What is you're f***king problem? You wrecked my hair and clothes and I know you started those rumours?" I said fast walking towards her. She looked shocked "I don't know what you're talking about Danielle." she said in a condescending tone as she slightly tilted her head to one side. I was furious and I got in her face. "Listen Kayla. Are you jealous I have Noah and you don't ?" I said feeling Kenzie put his hand on my shoulder.

Her smile faded and her friends snickered. "Why would I be jealous of you.. you're nothing but a skanky little nobody." she said getting close to me. "That's it ..." I yelled cocking my fist back but before I could swing I was being picked up and carried away. "Kenzie put me down... put me down!" I said struggling to get free. "Not until you calm down ...you can't fight her." he said calmly. We stopped in an empty hall and he let me go, "How could you defend her? You know what she did to me!?" I said starting to cry. "I'm not defending her but you can't let her win. If you had of hit Kayla you would have got suspended or worst and she would be free to do whatever!" Kenzie said.

"You're right... I think I'm gonna go home ... I can't be here right now." I agreed wiping away tears. Kenzie walked me outside to my car, "Kenzie?" I sniffled. "Ya?" "Thanks for being there for me even though you're Noah's friend.." I smiled. "We are friends." Kenzie said turning to walk back in to the school.
