Unbelievable

Chapter 21

I laid on my back staring at the ceiling for a while, until the silence was broken, "Dani? Can I ask you something?". "Ya?" I answered as I rolled over to face him. "Does the future scare you?  I mean like not knowing what's gonna happen or how everythings gonna turnout... It really scares me.".  After thinking about his question for a few seconds, I responded "Of course it scares me but it could also turn out to be amazing.... and the unknown is always scary...".  Noah smiled as he gently brushed a stray piece of my hair behind my ear, "You always make me feel better.".

That night I fell asleep snuggled up in Noah's arms, smiling like an idiot.

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. As I shoved myself out of the huge bed, I could hear the soft tapping of the shower running. After a couple of minutes of looking out at our view of the snow covered city, I decided to started getting ready. Once I was finished brushing out my hair, I quickly applied some make up and checked myself over in the mirror that hung above the desk.

Noah and I decided to order room service while we waited for a plow to come and clear the parking lot. When our breakfast was delivered we sat on the bed, to eat it and enjoy each others company.

Not long after we finished eatting, my cell went off with a text from mom:  Did you leave yet?.

After a quick explaination of why we hadn't left yet, she answered with a simple "ok, be Careful.".

Around 3 o'clock we left the hotel and slowly made our way home. I couldn't wait to show my mom the dress;let alone wear it.

We pulled up infront of my house at 10:45 pm that night and I was exhausted. We said a quick good night before I closed my front door.  My mom made me try on my dress to show her. When I walked back into the kitchen she got up from her chair and hugged me. "You look beautiful sweetie." she whispered as she kissed my forehead.

The next morning when I woke up I began to go through my morningly routin, starting with checking my phone. I had a few texts from Noah : Good morning babe just wanted you to know that you mean alot to me and I'll pick you up at 20 to :) xo

I could feel my face being taken over by a smile as I put my phone down and went downstairs. After I finished my cereal I ran back to my room to finsh getting ready. Within 15 minutes I was completly ready. While I waited for Noah I stared at my reflection in my full lenght mirror.

Monday dragged on slowly. In english we got assigned a project and Mrs.Steele said we could work alone or in a pair. I usually worked alone because I hated fighting with people who never wanted to work but this time was different. Scott was in my class because he failed english last year so I wasn't totally alone. "Wanna work together?" Scott asked as I started to packing up my books. After I zipped up my bag, I swivled in my seat to face him, "Ya, ok.". "Ok, good...I'll go tell Mrs." He said smiling as he walked over to the teachers desk.

When the bell rang after last period I slowly dragged myself to my locker. I unloaded all of my books into my locker because luckly I had no homework. After that I walked out to the car where Noah was already waiting. "Hey Babe." he said pulling me into a hug. He always smelled soo good. "Hey" I said as I buried my face into his hoodie. Noah suddenly became stiff under my touch causing me to turn my head to where his gaze had fell. It was Kenzie and Caylen. To anyone who didn't know the situation it would have seem like they were siblings. They were constantly bickering and rarely ever acted as a couple.

The two of them were constantly shooting Noah and I dirty looks. As they walked towards Kenzie's car, you could almost feel the frustration and tension between them.

I returned my attention to Noah and I could tell he felt the same way I did about them. "Danielle?" Noah said in a low tone, looking me directly in the eyes. It was always easy to tell when Noah had something on his mind because he would get quiet and serious. "What is it?".
