Chapter 13

Over the next few weeks, I was barely home because Noah's friends had either went to Florida or somewhere to visit family. Caylen was gone to see her dad in California so I had a lot of free time. One day when I was helping Daina unpack some boxes she asked me if I wanted to come get their Christmas tree with them on Saturday. ( 2 weeks before Christmas ) "I don't want to intrude in your guys plans.." I said feeling awkward. "You wouldn't be intruding honey. We would all love it if you came!" Daina beamed.

On Friday I stayed over. Noah, Katie and I watched Frozen in his room. When Katie fell asleep and the movie was over, a Noah took her to her bedroom. He came back and quietly closed his door, "what'd you wanna do now.." I asked, still wide awake. He smirked, " Big kid stuff he said taking my face in his hands. We had been going out for almost four months and kissing Nosh still felt so new and amazing. I had never felt this way about anyone before....ever!

Noah stood beside the bed and I stood on the bed on my knees. We were so in sync. Neither off us pulled away except to catch our breaths. After a couple minutes I pulled away. I frowned and sat back in my feet. "What's wrong ?" He said sitting beside me. I couldn't help but remember what Caylen had lectured me about before she left.

She had told me to be careful because guys our age were umm expecting and if they didn't get from their girlfriends then they would get it from someone else behind their girls back. I didn't think Noah was like that but I also didn't want him to think I didn't like him or something.

"Noah? You know I love you ... right?" I said quietly. "mhm" he nodded. "Well I was wondering if we could ah maybe go for a drive or something ..." I said making eye contact with worried blue eyes. "Of course.".

We parked in town in the empty Dentists parking lot. I turned to look at him " Umm we have to talk about ah us...". "Dani please don't...." He said starting to cry. Noah thought that I was going to tell him that we were over.... Maybe we were....
