Chapter 9

The boys came out of the locker room in a huge cluster and Noah was in the front. "You did it!" I squealed as a hugged him tight. Just then Kenzie cut in "Noah you comin to the party at Jeri's?" He said. Noah looked at me then back at Kenzie "Only if she wants to." he said looking at me. I nodded and we started to leave. it was only 940 and the party didn't start until 10 so I got Noah to run me home to change. "Almost ready!" I yelled slipping on my black skirt and fixing my ruffled shirt. I slipped on my vans and ran back out to the car. Noah looked stunned. "Are you alright?" I asked a little worried. He nodded "I'm fine you're just so gorgeous.". I couldn't help but laugh.

When we got to the party everyone was congratulating Noah . Then Kayla and some of her friends came over. She had on tiny black shorts that barely covered her ass and a tight pink tank top. "Heeey super star. I was worried you weren't coming!" Kayla said as her two friend stood beside her. She continued before Noah could get a single word out "I thought I told Liam to tell you not to bring her..." she said gesturing at me. "I wouldn't have come with out her." he said without pause. Kayla got close to him "What a shame .." she whispered running her fingers along his jaw.

When she walked away, Noah turned to look at me. "Don't mind her, she's just being a jealous b**ch." he said softly as he grabbed my hand. We walked to the kitchen to get drinks. As I put the red cup up to my lips, the smell of vodka burned my nose but one last thought about Kayla made me break as I took a big mouthful. It tasted like strawberries but was very strong, burning as I swallowed.

I could tell Noah was having a good time. Everyone was talking about the game and how he got the winning goal. "Hey Noah?" I asked trying to get his attention. "Yeah Dani?" He said immediately turning from his friends. "I'm just gonna go to the bathroom. Ok?" I whispered. Noah offered to come with me but I knew I could find it on my own.

As I wandered around the ginormous house trying to find a bathroom I ran into Kayla. She noticed me before I could get away. Kayla and her two friends grabbed my shoulders, pinning me to the wall. "Where ya going loser?" She laughed. "Just leave me alone Kayla." I replied not in the mood for her.

She studied me for a moment before whispering something to the other girls, who then started to drag me into a empty part of the hall. I had only had two drinks but Noah and Kenzie had made them, so I was a little disorientated. They some how managed to pull me into a vacant room, filled with pictures.

Kayla locked the door as they dumped me in the corner. I forced myself to my feet and tried to get past them but they shoved me back. I hit my head on a small dresser and must have been knocked out. When I woke up, I stood and my whole body throbbed intensely. The girls were gone. I walked over to the mirror and what I saw brought me to tears.
