Unbelievable

Chapter 5

On the drive back, Noah was quiet. He was driving with one hand and had the other resting on his right leg. I reached over and held his hand. Noah looked at me then looked back at the road and smiled.

After school I purposely missed the bus and went to find Caylen. I found her outside with a few other girls "Caylen...? Could I talk to you ?". She looked at the other girls then said "Why did Noah find someone better?". The other girls laughed, "Please Caylen?" I begged.

"Fine." Caylen said walking towards me. I told her about my morning and I could tell she wanted to hear more when I said "That's it and I don't know what to do.". She walked me home and we talked the whole way. Finally I knew what I had to do.

"Hey Noah can you meet me?" I said into the phone. He told me he would meet me at the coffee place on Main Street in ten. I looked myself over in the mirror and then ran out the door. My heart was racing, I was so nervous. When I got there I ordered and went to a small table by the window.

"Hey Dani." I looked up to see Noah standing there. "Hey..." I answered watch Noah as he sat down, across from me. "Umm I figured that we needed to ah talk about you know this morning..." I started. Before I could continue Noah cut me off "I'm sorry .. I shouldn't have done that.". "Don't be.." I blurted out as I place my hand on his. "What is this... I mean what are we?" He said trying not to sound serious. Without thinking I leaned in and kissed him. "Does that answer your question?" I said with a smirk.

It was official. Noah and I were a thing. For the first time in my life I felt like I was living in a fairy tale. Everyone was in shock the next day at school when we walked in and he was holding my hand. "So are you gonna come to my game tonight?" He said playing with my hand. "Mhmm Cay's gonna come with me." I loved watching hockey.

At lunch I had to stand with him and his friends. I had met a few of them before but only as his friend. So it was really awkward. Noah's best friend's name was Alex. Alex was tall with dark brown hair and green eyes. His other friend's names were Scott, Liam and Kenzie. They were all in grade twelve on the school's hockey team.

At 845 I went to pick Caylen up. Once we were at the rink she went to get us a spot and I went to get hot chocolates.
