Chapter 17

Crystalline's POV
I'm preparing for clubbing tonight. I already take a bath and do my make up. I put on my short red dress and nude pumps with a matching purse. I texted Shabby and tell her that I'm picking her up, she said yes. I grab my keys and drive away with my baby.

When we arrive at the club, it have a long line but we don't need to line up. We straight up walk to the guards and show them our IDs. They bow and let us in. The perks of being the friend of the owner, Monie is the owner of this club.

As we walked in, I see a lot of people grinding and kissing each other. I pull Shabby with me in the bar. "Two margaritas please" the bartender salute and make our drinks. "Her you go beautiful ladies" I grab my drink and just watch people having fun.

After a few minutes of talking, Shabby stand up and pull me to teh dance floor. "I don't want to dance!" I shouted through the music, "oh please! Don't be a kill joy, let's have fun!" I give up and go along with her. I dance and dance until I feel hands on my waist. I turn around and shock to see who is it.

Ace's POV
We are now at the club drinking and talking about random things until I felt the need to go to the washroom, "Eve, I'll just go to the washroom" he nods busy talking to a girl. I walk towards the washroom and do my business. As I was to walk back to the bar, I heard a girl shouting. "Can you get off me! I don't like you anymore! Stay away from me!" It's so familiar so I follow the voice and it lead me to a room. I press my ear to the door and tried to hear something, "oh come on, don't you miss me? You're so beautiful" I heard a male voice said.

"I don't and I wish you rot in hell, you cheater! Get off me!" I heard her struggling so I barge in and saw...Crystalline?

"Who the fuck are you?" The man ask. She manage to walk away from him and hug me. "Baby! He keeps annoying me and he won't stop" she mumbled with her sweet voice. I know what she's doing, she's acting so I go along. "Really? Hey! Stop annoying my girlfriend, she's mine!" With that i put my arms around her and walk her out. When we got out she pull away and smiled, "thank you for helping me back there"

I smile back, "it's fine" I want to ask her about the man a while ago but I don't want her to be mad.
"Go on, you can ask. I know you want to" I look at her, how the hell she- "it's written all over your face"

She's so good at reading people, "who is he?" I hesitantly ask. "He's my ex. My one and only ex" she said bitterly. "Did he cheat on you?" She nod. How can someone cheat on her? She's beautiful and smart. "Thank you again but I got to head back, I'm with Shabby. Bye!" I wave back and watch her disappear from my sight. She sure hides a lot of secret and I want to know everything. This seems dangerous but where's the fun if you're not gonna risk it? I smiled and get back inside.

After 2 days
Crystalline's POV
"Shabby can you photo copy 100 pieces of this?" She look at me wide eyed, "I'll call someone to help you, and please distribute it to the different departments then tell them to give it to every staff and workers. This is just some announcements that they need to know. Thank you" she nods and get the paper from me. I stand up and walk out with her, a girl bow and head down walk away.

"Hey, can I have a favor?" She turn and point at her self. "Yes you, come here" she walk towards me and bow. "No need to do that, what's your name?" She blush and shyly answered, "Sara"

"Sara, Can you help my secretary photo copy this? I need 100 of these and help her distribute it to different departments, workers and staffs" she look at my secretary and nod. "Thank you" with that I walk away.

I enter my office and see Mr. Vazquez? I look at the time and sigh. Time flies so fast, "Good afternoon, Mr. Vazquez. What can I help you with?" He look at me and smile.

"I'm sorry that I visited unannounced and please just call me Ace...Have you eaten?" And right there my stomach grumbled answering his question. I've been skipping lunch and just eat biscuits this past few days. Shabby keeps bugging me about it but I ignored her.

"I guess that's my answer, let's eat it's all on me" he hold my hands and tug me out but I managed to pull away, "First of all, why are you suddenly acting like you care?" He turn to me, "that's because your parents tell me to monitor you" I give him the what the hell look.

"Why can't just Shabby do that? She's my secretary and best friend" I argued, how the hell my parents know? "That's because you won't listen to her" then tug me out of my office. That's actually right, I didn't listen to her.

"Wait! What the fuck are you thinking that I'm going to listen to you?!" I yell. "I know you won't but I'm going to make you" with that he lift me up to his shoulder. "What the fuck? Put me down! Now or else I will fire you!" I heard him scoff and enter the elevator. "Oh, I'm scared...you can't do that your parents hire me not you. You just agreed with it" I stilled at what he said and give up.

"Will you put me down now? I promise I won't run" he stop, "promise?" I sigh and answered yes. He put me down and continue walking towards a restaurant just beside the company.

We find a sit at the back and ordered our food then wait for it. "Since we're here, let's talk about ourselves. You know get to know each other" he suggested with a smile. "And if I don't want to?" I keep a straight face and in a bitchy tone.

"I will not force you then" I sigh, "what about a game, let's take turns to ask each other questions?" He nod, "you go first"

"What is your favorite color?" I start. "Black. You?" He ask back, "Black, gold, purple, red and any type of blue" we continue asking back and forth until our food comes. We eat while talking and laughing. Hanging out with him is not that bad, he's fun to be with behind his work mode face.

When we finish he got an urgent call so I went alone to my office. When I look at the time my eyes widen the hell we've been there for three hours?! I shake my head and continue working.

Hello hello hello! I'm really sorry for not updating that often. Assignments after assignments and projects after projects, I have a ton. I really don't know where to start, when I finish doing two or three another one replace it. Like seriously? And exams are coming! Aghhhh! I'm really stress.
