Crystalline's POV I wake up when I heard them laughing, I roll my eyes and get ready for today. I decided to wear an off-shoulder sundress, I tie my hair into a messy bun and get my bag. I walk downstairs and saw them eating, "Where are you going?" my mother asks. "somewhere" I respond and open the door then get out. I look at the card that Louisa gave to me. I type the number on my phone and nervously call it.
After a few rings she answered, "Hello, this is Louisa Quinn. Who is this?". I gulp before answering, "This is Crystalline, I'm the one you met at the mall" I fiddle with my fingers nervously. "Darling! I've been waiting for your call. Do you want to come over?" I smiled, I wish she's my mom. "Sure, where are we going to meet?"
"I'll send you the address, see you!" with that we hang up. A few minutes later, she sends me the address and I drive there. As I was approaching the house, my jaw drops at how beautiful it is. It's definitely bigger than ours and more modern at the same time classic than ours. I love the fact that they're close to the forest and the place is secluded. They are the only house around. It's like a palace!

When I reach the gate, they ask me who I am and tell them that I'm Louisa's friend. They call her to confirm and after that they let me in. I park my car in the round-about driveway and turn off the car. I get my belongings and come out the car. I look around and all I saw is plants, I love it!
I walk towards the entrance and knock, a maid opens the door for me and lead me to the backyard with swimming pool and another garden. "Come have a sit" we both take a sit, I'm still admiring the place. It's magnificent! "what do you like to drink?" I look at her and smile, "An orange juice would do" I politely said. "Mary, please give her what she wants" the maid bows at us and go somewhere.
"So, tell me about yourself" she started off. I play with my fingers nervously and speak, "My full name is Crystalline Nicole Saxon, I'm 19 years old. I'm at my final year as a senior college and I love reading books"
"ohh! So, you're the daughter of Adelita and Charles. You are the heir of their company" I'm sure they're going to give it to my sister. I just nod and look at her, "Tell me about yourself too" she smiles and speak. "Before I start, don't be nervous around me. I don't bite, just imagine that I'm your mother. Is that alright?" I nodded shyly, how did she notice that I'm nervous? I must be too obvious.
"okay" she chuckles and continue, "As you know, I'm Louisa Angelina Quinn and my husband is Giovanni Ezriel Quinn. You can see, I love flowers and plants. I also love to cook"
We talk for a while and I learn that she can't have a child. They are planning on adopting but they are not yet sure about it. That's why she's so kind to me. I really like her, she's so kind and she give me a warm, gentle and elegant feel. She treats me like her daughter and it feels great. I never feel this with my own family. She said, I can come back anytime and I agreed. We bid each other goodbye and now I'm going home.
As I enter the house, I see no one. Hmmm...Maybe they're gone. I walk upstairs and go to my room. I wash up and wear comfy clothes. My stomach is full, but just in case I'll get some food. I go down and cook food for me and then I pass the theater room, I saw them watching twilight my sister's favorite movie. I quietly pass them but before I can get away my father ask, "where did you go?" I close my eyes and turn around, they are now looking at me. How did they notice me?
"I'm at a friend's house" I didn't tell them who it is, because I know they will be mad at me. "or maybe you sleep around" my sister mumble but I heard it. "I'm not like you, and don't act like you're innocent. Mom, be careful because nowadays even your own family can betray you. There are too many snakes around, choose wisely who you'll trust" with that I walk away and go back to my room.
I hope my mom figure it out. Even though she doesn't care about me, I still love her and I don't want her to be hurt. I watch TV for a while before drifting off to sleep.
